It's a pretty shallow show, kept afloat only by copious ecchi and a certain appreciation for the female form. There's not much story to speak of, all of the characters are one-note and more than a little cliched, and what little development does occur is typically unjustified.

Hino's tolerable, as harem MCs go, but he's still very dense.
