It's really a shame that the number of episodes for this got cut down, and it definitely shows towards the end, but even so I really like this. Aside from problems that are obviously just due to the shorted run, the only thing I really wish the series had done differently was have Iwasawa stay in longer, but I understand why they took her out when they did. Honestly though, My Song is one of my absolute favourite songs and I find Iwasawa's story incredibly inspiring. (But really, they should have at least explained TK's back story.) |

Angel Beats! Another Epilogue
Okay, so here's the theory about the epilogues I support: This epilogue goes before the one shown at the end of episode 13. In other words, Otonashi stayed in the school for a while helping others pass on until he eventually did so himself and met Kanade again after he was reborn.

I wonder if I'm the only one who was hoping that Hiro would end up with Kei. I mean, I usually am not crazy about childhood friend pairings due to the psychology against it, but I liked Kei's character much more than I did Miyako's. Anyway, I liked Chihiro and Renji's relationship far more either way.
