Akane Maniax
A failed sequel to the famous Kimi Ga series, I seriously don't see any point in making this. The mecha added was unnecessary and overall it was just crap. Dont waste ur time on this

Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch
CLAMP + Sunrise certainly sold it for me, expect lots of action and a fast paced story, in fact this series can keep you on edge till the final episode and have you screaming for more. Of course having good looking characters and an awesome male lead adds all to the pluses. The only complaint I haev is the 2nd Opening, that song hurts my ears.
Apart from that, definitely a worthy watch for action, mecha and drama fans. Downloaded Episodes: 25 |

Full Metal Panic!
One of the first animes I watched and instantly hooked me. This anime features the most interesting character ever created, Sagara Sousuke, the military genius but idiot at trivial issues. Also a great female character Chidori Kaname to match up, the chemistry between them is so great that you can disregard any other faults just to watch them alone. As said, the plot was quite uneven, going from sudden changes between comedy and drama but still enjoyable from beginning till end. Highly recommended

Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid: Wari to Hima na Sentaichou no Ichinichi
Only a short ova about the captain Tessa Testarossa's life for one day. Since I'm not a fan of her, its a hit or miss for me, the opening scene however was classic, just by seeing Sagara's extremely funny reaction to a half naked captain. A nice short ova for a short laugh

Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu
One of the funniest animes I've ever watched, the chemistry between Sousuke and Chidori are taken a step up than the first installment, creating even more havoc than usual. Many scenes will leave you in stitches, great animation and extremely catchy opening theme. FMP fans should not miss this!

Gankutsuou
Adaptation of the famous novel 'The Count of Monte Cristo'. I have seen the movie before this so this anime provided quite a surprise because some incidents were changed, furthermore, the main character was Albert not the Count. This wasn't that bad because it actually felt more refreshing. The animation does take some time to get used to considering its really very very artistic. Ending theme was really catchy and overall BGM had a dramatic feel.

Innocent Venus
Pretty nice anime considering I didn't have much expectations for it. Great action scenes and nice background music. Characters had too little time to develop but Jin and Toraji were interesting. Slight twist near the end although this has been foreshadowed since the beginning. Overall a pretty good and enjoyable sci-fic series

Kannazuki no Miko
First yuri anime I watched, wasn't as bad as I expected. Character designs were beautiful and the soundtrack also consisted of lovely melancholy music. Himeko was irritating but Chikane and Souma were enough to keep me watching. Pretty good watch if you ignore the laughable mecha scenes

Kidou Senshi Gundam 00
As the 4th gundam I watched, this succeeded in having the most calm protagonists plus having the most unpredictable plot and deaths. Since it was still pretty complex, I couldnt understand everything, nevertheless I was pretty hooked to the story. Animation was absolutely gorgeous and OP ED themes were wonderful too (except the 1st ED). Good hints were left for the 2nd season in which theres a potential to have a kickass Setsuna plus other surprises in store.

Kidou Senshi Gundam: Dai 08 MS Shoutai
Mecha has never been my favourite genre since i basically think robot fighting is plain funny, despite dated animation, this series was still rather ok, though since its very short, not enough character development was allowed, especially Aina's character which remained a bit vague truout. It had engrossing parts though and a nice opening theme

Koukyoushihen Eureka Seven
well what more can u expect from Bones? they will always deliver something pleasing in some way or other. Solid animation, a somewhat relaxing and free-willed story, likeable characters especially the Gekko-Go team plus a funky upbeat soundtrack. Theres just something you can't resist when you are watching it, prepare to get sucked in

Mai-HiME
Resembling sailor moon but with more interesting characters, hot-blooded mecha action and a fast paced plot. Music by Yuki Kajiura is also very good too. The ending though, seemed a bit forced, still it is good enough to be in everyone's collection

Resembling Mai HIME but set in an alternate universe with a different female lead. It was nice seeing some Mai HIME characters appear in another type of role. Action and music were as good as before but the plot was not as gripping. Arinko also lacked the aura that Mai was able to give

Soukyuu no Fafner: Dead Aggressor
To tell the truth, I barely understand the whole plot, partly due to the long interval between watching the first and 2nd episode. Still it doesn't seem like the sort you'll pick up immediately just by watching once. It still managed to hold some of my interest till the end though, animation and soundtrack were great though Kazuki looks terribly alike Kira from Gundam Seed. OP, ED themes were good too. Characters became quite good later as you start to bond with them. Overall this anime is good, although I should probably state yet again to marathon this at one go and not leave it for too long since the plot is too complex to be remembered

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
Very much a hot-blooded mecha show that resembles a kids morning cartoon where the characters shout and charge. Don't watch this for tactics or intelligence, its pretty much just for entertainment. I didn't like the first half but after the time jump, it became a lot better. Ending was a little cheesy but that was about expected. Music was very good and character development of Simon especially was the highlights, otherwise the plot isn't that much to be said of

Tenkuu no Escaflowne
One of the classics, has a very engaging story which...even though I don't understand robots, they were designed really elegantly. Characters were likable, Yoko Kanno's music was mystifying, and the ending wasn't sad but it still drove me to tears. Overall an excellent anime, a must watch for all fantasy likers
