Baccano!
Great anime, totally puzzling at first but turns out totally great at the last few episodes when all the puzzle comes together. An advice is to rewatch again and you might find out something that you may have missed.
Furthermore this show boost an alarming amount of main characters and you really wonder how they can manage to focus on all in ONLY 13 episodes, yet they managed it, as well as creating many favorite characters which are all significant in their own way. Cardcaptor Sakura
I thought this was kiddy and the only thing that attracted me to watch it was because I loved the syaoran x sakura pair in tsubasa chronicles. CCS exceeded my expectations and proved to me why it is still so popular till now. Characters were great, songs were lovely, animation though a little old improved a lot near the end, story remained highly interesting from start till end. Of course, the syaoran and sakura pair were still the highlight and it was amazing how much their relationship developed over 70 episodes. Nothing more to say, this is throughly well done and should be watched even though you are no longer a kid

Coyote Ragtime Show
This is indeed like a 'show', it starts with a bang, plays around and ends again with a bang, so fast that it does not leave any impression except you have just been entertained for 12 episodes...thats all folks! Catchy music but forgettable plot and characters.

E's Otherwise
The story was actually promising, but they ended so abruptly and incompletely I just had to decrease the score. Characters were okay, music was mediocre and animation wasn't that good too. The only redeemable bit was the interesting plot but they had to ruin it.

Erementar Gerad
This was an okay series throughout, didn't provide much impact and in the end its just something to pass time. Animation wasn't that great, nor the music. Characters were not that appealing as well, especially Kuu which was like a lifeless robot. However it had a nice ending.

Fullmetal Alchemist
One of my favourite animes in which I was totally hooked from start till end. Yes, its another classic from Bones. Awesome storyline and great characters, enhanced by the orchestral score and fluid animation. This is just a must watch for all anime fans

Right after the 1st OVA, this maintains the same standard and remains faithful to the manga counterpart. A good watch for all Fushigi Yuugi fans

Hakaima Sadamitsu
Old school anime but still pretty good and delivers enough hot-blooded action and comedy. Of course, a rather clueless, rash hero must be included. Nice to watch just for all the hot-blooded action and laughs included

Hatenkou Yuugi
Pretty ok, rather episodic at times but overall rather entertaining. The main heroine herself is spunky and likable and the 2 male leads are also amusing in their own way. Sadly the series was too short and not much development was seen, plus it ended at a high note when the story seemed to have just started. if a 2nd season was announced I'd have given it a higher rating but till now, its more like a promo than an actual series.

Hunter x Hunter
This anime started out quite mediocre but became better and better, till the end I was craving for more as the plot became more intense. Lots of character development involved especially for the four main characters and other interesting side characters to back it up.

Hunter x Hunter: Greed Island Final
Final installment of the great series and the admittedly great arc. Pity though that some issues weren't resolved yet but I look forward to some new OVAs around the corner. Animation seems to have improved and Gon+Kilua duo are as good as ever.

Hunter x Hunter: Original Video Animation
Since the tv series already set up the momentum, this ovas continued to make it even better. I loved the whole RPG game idea and thought every episode climatic. Highly recommended for fans of the tv series

This started out good but was rather disappointing near the end, partly because of the outcome of certain characters. Apart from that, animation and music were good, action scenes were done very well... but as said, plot fell a little near the end. Still good for such a short series though

Juuni Kokuki
One of the most epic masterpiece ever created, also features the best character development ever. Story is highly complex and ended at a high note, due to the fact of incomplete novels. Characters, especially Yoko is one of the best female leads. Animation wasn't too perfect, some colours were too dark and unappealing, but BGM was really beautiful, especially the opening theme song. Have patience for this series, and you'll be highly rewarded

Kyou kara Maou!
Series started out very funny and actually good, but then somewhere halfway it started to get a bit boring with the tremendous load of fillers. Furthermore the animation was incredibly inconsistant, sometimes it would get so sloppy i'm wondering whether i was watching the same cartoon. Overall it was okay but due to all factors above I even got bored at the end and just wanted to finish it

Last Exile
One of the best Gonzo series to be created. Features awesome animation, sky battles, with lively music at the background and excellent voice acting. This should make itself into any anime fan's collection

Ookami to Koushinryou
This is overall a rather unique series that deals about trade and business, something you don't normally see in other animes. There are some supernatural elements as well, especially when it comes to Horo, but it is more of a slice-of-life series, the pace is pretty relaxing but the interaction of Horo and Lawrence is so good that it'll keep your attention. Horo herself was a lovable character, full of charm, wits and intelligence too. Very pleasing series but too bad it was too short to elaborate more.

Samurai Deeper Kyou
This anime was really promising at the start, with a two-faced character and a seemingly interesting plot. However, it turned out to be a huge disappointment. First to note was the lazy animation which consisted of 'static' action scenes, plus an equally boring male lead, a female lead who mostly acted as a victim, and a group of mediocre bad guys. Apart from the very catchy OP and ED theme, this anime is a waste of time

Seirei no Moribito
Awesome jawdropping animation plus a lovely soundtrack, yet another asian-fantasy story that somehow resembles Junni Kokki. This series, although short, is really complicated but has a nice mix of characters and makes you yearn for more. Fight scenes aren't that many but they are extremely well animated, despite from the lack of blood.

Probably my favourite among all Ghibli shows. A masterpiece beyond words, it is absolutely magical and marvellous, leaving you totally awed from beginning till end.

This actually started out good and extremely interesting but mellowed down somewhat near the end when it became a one-girl fight, therefore rather disappointing in many ways. That aside, the music, animation and almost everything was excellent. I wouldn't say this was bad, just that it would have gotton a higher score if the last bit was as consistant with the excellent front part

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
Very much a hot-blooded mecha show that resembles a kids morning cartoon where the characters shout and charge. Don't watch this for tactics or intelligence, its pretty much just for entertainment. I didn't like the first half but after the time jump, it became a lot better. Ending was a little cheesy but that was about expected. Music was very good and character development of Simon especially was the highlights, otherwise the plot isn't that much to be said of

Another magical Miyazaki film, although Spirited away still remains my favourite, this one is really good as well. As usual characters are lovable and soundtrack is good with a very imaginative setting. Recommended to all those ghibli fans

Tenpou Ibun: Ayakashi Ayashi
I'm not sure how to make out of this...its Bones, my favourite studio and I've liked most of their works, yet this one just didn't work for me. The monsters looked rather hilarious and there was no particular character to at least fangirl over. Music wasn't that great too, terribly disappointed with Kou Otani. The action and animation however, were still good and some stories were pretty interesting as well, but overall there was just something lacking in this series that didn't manage to make it as memorable as most Bones series did for me.

Tsubasa: Tokyo Revelations
This had to be the longest spanning OVA i had ever seen and due to it airing an episode per 2 months, it was a wonder I managed to stick with it. But then again, this had to be the best installment of the tsubasa series, with great action, enough gore and a darker storyline. The plot delivers twist after twist and finally you can't even guess what would come next. Had this not been for only 3 episodes and that no continuation was promiesed, I would give it a 10, otherwise leaving it hanging there just gets on my nerves. Its still great though, I'd say suffer through the first 2 seasons and you'd be rewarded with this.
