Kind of like a collection of short stories. An acquired taste, for someone who really wants a lasting impression from less story instead of more. There's a central character and theme, but people with backstories and major roles thus far have only stayed for one episode each.

Something about the art style changing throughout the series is amazing, but I don't like where it ended as much as where it began, and only the ending carried as much weight as the totality of the other seasons for me.

I really like some of it, and this could easily be an 8 or 9 from me, but it feels like several episode plots should have moved slower and actually expounded upon their ideas, really seeming to be forced into 24 minutes. High hopes for the OVA.

I don't know if I would have finished this if I hadn't watched it as a marathon with some friends. It's fantastic on many levels, but it's hard to get over the idea that someone just said "let's try Fate/Stay Night again, but try to make it better". (spoilers) Also, assassin's death was just disappointing. There's much that seems contradictory about the entire episode in question, and it sort of drags the series down for me. That, and Archer's an ass.

This series was my first love when it comes to anime, and it remains a strong flame.

The good points were amazing, and tied in really well with Bakemonogatari. The bad points, however, are many and also reminiscent of( the less good parts of) Bakemonogatari.

I was taken aback by the premise, and reluctant to start watching. I ended up loving it despite.

Intriguing.
