Gankutsuou 		6 TV 24 Based on "The Count of Monte Cristo" and mixed with Sci-Fi elements. Brilliant and complex plot and character relationships. The Count is awesome. Still, didn't hook me that much. Totally stupid semi-mecha fights near the end.
