Since this series has good reviews and I was curious to know how a Victorian era anime would be, I gave it a try. Unusual instrumental OP&ED which fits the anime, and it mostly represents the time correctly but so far it was slow. What can one say? Even liking the colourful visuals, the backgrounds, the apparently technologically advanced objects and the character designs (the latter I did not), you must love zips and children super heroes to like the story too.
