Absolutely beautiful rom-com. Art is great, music is alright, character interaction is off the charts.

I watched the entire anime in two sessions, so I don't know how anyone else might feel about this anime if they had watched it at a slower pace, but the feels ended up hitting me all at once. It was such a well done presentation of the story in the amount of episodes that it told it. The ending gave me hope and worry for the future of the characters and I could have done without the last 10 seconds of the anime giving me those feelings, but I would watch it again completely, those moments included because I feel that it gives a more complete ending to the anime.
In summary, I feel that this anime took a unique approach to limited romances. A lot of the time, you see that the gap in the romance is where there is a human and an immortal, causing one to have to live on with those feelings after their partner's expiration, but this anime reversed it. The abnormally long life span was swapped with an abnormally short and predetermined end. With only ~80 days this couple becomes an innocent romance that goes no further than even kissing. The pure love behind it grants a charm to the limited time they have together and they make the best of it. Absolutely loved this anime. I don't know how else I could have reworked the story to make it better for the intended effect, therefore I personally rate it a 10/10 masterpiece that sits at the top of my list with others.

I really enjoyed watching it a lot. I loved how the relationships developed and resolved as well as the lore and details of the surrounding world. Even though there were plot points that I found predictable, I enjoyed it nonetheless. As much as I truly enjoyed watching it, I couldn't help but feel that there was something missing. I was less than satisfied with the ending, but I was glad to see there was no true "resolution". I thoroughly enjoyed watching every episode, but nothing screams 10/10 to me. I appreciated the use of Scarborough Fair, but I felt that it was out of place. It could have been better applied. All in all, it was a good watch, but I don't know if it'd ever get to be in my top 10 recommended shows unless there's a season 2 that comes out later.
