Confusing, since it is based on a game and that anyone who watches this will not understand what is happening unless they have played the game...they could have expended it more so that people who have not played the game could understand what is really happening, they could have made it more like the tales of symphonia anime which is also based on a game and was made into a short 4 episode anime which explains the strory much better than the Ar Tonelico anime...i gave it a six because although the story is hard to understand, the rest isn't bad

probably my favorite anime movie ever...i have watched this movie unhealthy amounts of times...i think i watched it more than twenty times just the first week...it has a great story (although it will be slightly confusing if you have not played the game first since this is based on a game) the characters are thought of perfectly and are just like they were in the game, the image quality is breathtaking (as long as you get a good download or get the dvd), and the voices are great (as long as you watch it in Japanese with English subs, although i don't know what the English dub version sounds like) and the special effects are great, plenty of action to go around and it keeps your interest the whole time, enough that i must have watched it hundreds of times...only thing is that it is kind of a short movie, but whatever...Cloud Rules!
