Despite being fanservicy, absurd, ridiculous and a remake of Go Nagai's classic which I've never seen, this anime was stellar. Out of all the works I've seen from Gainax this is probably one of my favorites now. Very enjoyable throughout, and satisfying indeed. Would recommend to anyone who likes sexy empowered women, ecchi, action, comedy, drama, psychological and YURI.
