The art in this series is stunning. The characters are easy to feel close to, the story is powerful, the villians (all save one) are human, and believe themselves to be in the right, even when perfoming actions that should give them pause. The events in the series can be frustrating, but that makes them more believable to me. The ending, while predictable, was well executed. Watch the first 5 episodes. You'll know if you want to see the rest.
