I rewatched the entirety of the original Prince of Tennis, and also watched this entire OVA before coming to a conclusion: I don't like this show. It took over a hundred episodes, but yes, the only reason why I liked Prince of Tennis is due to nostalgia. I clearly was only able to rematch the orginal anime out of pure nostalgia, as watching the old episodes is like opening up an ancient crypt, the animation and story extremely outdated.
I give credit when credit is due: Most of Seigaku's cast of characters are well made, and they certainly have unique personalities. Each player has their strengths ... Sep 11, 2020
