New Interest Stack
Interest StacksEssential anime for lonely people out there (like me) if you want to feel something in this big big world. To see every color, every character in desperate search for some human warmth, to understand and befriend them as we ourselves are looking for genuine connection. An assorted stack of anime series that revolves around characters living in dorms or apartments. The hostel setting may or may not be the direct plot point of the anime. This stack is intended for anime that are dedicated to people of various common (and not so) professions and areas of work. Of course, mostly realistic and everyday animes, with a few exceptions. I've made it my goal to choose shows that are pretty relatable and informative, so if said anime has fantastical or obviously unrealistic elements, I'll mention it in parentheses up front. Kimonos, robes & the sort If you're emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed by anxious thoughts, or just want to relax, these anime will help you unwind. Some of them can be viewed before bedtime. Some can be simple or silly, and that's the point. But all of them are calm, quiet, and unhurried. You have already watched tons of popular anime. Now it is time for you to watch some underrated or uncommon titles. Here are some anime that are not popular but has really good story. I selected them based on number of members (Less than 600000) as of "12th January 2024". Enjoy, I will update the anime descriptions later as i don't have time right now. I don't normally recommend my 9+/10, but some shows just deserve some more love. From memory as an avid watcher. Aired either in ABS-CBN, HeroTV, or TV5. Some of these Tagalog Dubbed animes/OVAs may be lost media. This is my recommendation of Anime with genre Drama SoL (without or less comedy) which is I was watched for. Maybe some of them was strong drama intention or less. Romance are not a main genre. Anime set (mostly) in the countryside: inland rural areas and small semi-urban towns with lots of nature. These anime will take you away from the huge metropolises like Tokyo or Osaka, and provide you instead with much more laid back, slow-paced, natural places. This interest stack is focused entirely on anime that take a break from the usual unrealistic, exaggerated, over-the-top tropes commonly found in the average anime show, and instead offer an entire show that's pretty much as realistic as any TV series with real actors. |
