They both have little boys that are special in one way or another.
They both have a guy protecting them and watching over them.
They also do get separated from the guy that protects them.
They both have that sword play and is very sad.
This anime is really similar to stranger " but also very different.

Both have a stong feeling of family. Both have that one character that represents the sun. They are both beautiful and tear jerkers. If you like one, you will definitely like the other.
