While the premise of the movie, to fight the worlds strongest, is quite interesting. In a clever way giving light to a supporting character, who hasn't had a good fight since the King Piccolo Saga. This movie turns out to be just another scream until the enemy dies kind of thing. This story would have fit much better at the end of Dragon Ball (the original series) and not after Goku attained the Kaioken, but hey this movie is not canon.
Dr. Wheelo is a interesting concept, but every other villain in this movie is quite stupid in design and originality. They even turned a familiar ...

Another solid DBZ movie. The plot is kind of stupid- A scientist freezes his brain in ice to cheat death, and his assistant collects the Dragon Balls to wish him back.
The designs of the villains and goons are pretty lackluster and boring, but it's made up for by the hands thrown. Roshi gets an insane 3v1, and the final battle looks super pretty. If you can say nothing else good about the early movies, they look fantastic. The line art, color schemes, and fight coreography are all staples.

I also liked the representation of Gohans trauma, however brief. Overall this is reccomended if you wanna see ...

dont like this movie very much. dr whiro is a lame vilian. not threathing and dosent know how to fight. just a giant robot with a brain.

the majority of the movie is about his assistent, his idea to take over goku's body. piccolo in a controlled robot. fighting against his robotic henchmens. kinda dry for me and not much in it. dr whiro dosent even have a real personality. hes just blabbering about he wants to take goku's body and thats it.

the animation is good. very consistent with the rest of the movies. the movie feel very slow up to the very end. to ...

OK, so this one is almost a scene-for-scene rehash of the previous Dragon Ball Z movie, but with a fancier sci-fi gloss and a more interesting setup. Sadly, when I mentioned in my last review that the 40 minute first movie was the perfect length? It still applies, and World's Strongest feels a good ten or fifteen minutes longer than it needed to be. The Genki Dama stuff is always kind of a bore in this series, but here in a movie it was especially so.

Still, some of the fights are really good, where Goku wasn't able to instantly overpower his foes and got beaten ...
