Shuffle!

A bunch of girls like one guy. However, the main character in shuffle! has a different personality than the main male lead in School Days (aka the shuffle! guy is actually sincere). Also, they both get pretty serious towards the end. School Days more so. 

What Shuffle has is a great story intertwined through a great plot, but if you think Kaede should have done more for her man, then School Days answers your cries. 

Both School Days and Shuffle! are two of the better harems out there, in my opinion. Both series start off light, cutesy, and happy, but have darker elements that surface later on in the series. Both School Days and Shuffle! also feature similar character types: yanderes (Kotonoha and Kaede), the loud and energetic type (Sekai and Asa), the quiet girl (Setsuna and Primula), et cetera. I think both are very enjoyable series and fun to watch. 

-Both animes focuses very deeply into the story that involves love triangles and one-sided love as well as problems surrounding it. -School Life/Drama 

Another harem style anime where a friendly argument over the love of one man turns slowly in a physically harmful war. In both, a girl turns mentally unstable. Both start off slow but towards the end leaves you in shock. 

Both have a main character that can't decide between many girls he can choose from (indecision!). Both take a dark tone mid series when problems begin to arise. Shuffle! has a more overall light mood with some funny moments but can get heavy at times, whereas School Days tends to be much darker altogether. Both are good examples of how indecision can lead to serious problems, especially when it envolves human relationships. Also both plots occur mostly in High School featuring students. They have very good plots and have a lot of twists and turns. However, these shows are definitely *not* for the weak of heart. read more

These both animes are taking place in school environment. I think that Shuffle is more fun-based anime, while School Days is more serious about situation. Both of main characters are surrounded by girls from everywhere. I must say that Rin from Shuffle is a guy with a character and heart, while Itou from School Days is somehow total bitch. Althrough, I really enjoyed both of these animes as they have lot in common (at least first halves of them do). When I first saw Asa, I've instantly imagined Sekai from SD. You'll see why. :) 

The last 6 episode of Shuffle remind me of School Day. And on top of that both series are highschool harem, romacne & drama. If you enjoyed School Day then you might like Shuffle however if you like Shuffle you might not 100% enjoy School day 

Both have surprising endings in completely different ways. Also, they both take a turn for the worst at one point in the show, making the drama escalate. 

To me Shuffle and School days are two sides of the same coin in the same way Neon Genesis Eva and End of Eva are. Like those, one gently taps it's audience on the shoulder and asks you to consider your own morality and fantasies, the other grabs you by both perverted shoulders and shakes violently. Where Shuffle takes a somewhat sympathetic look at the ramifications of harem anime and the effects such a fantasy would have on the real people involved, School Days does much the same but by having it's male lead take all the harem protagonist's traits and turning them up to 11. That is, of course just a very surface level look at both shows, which conversely have layers of subtle character building and intricate, if sometimes dramatic, stories to tell. Shuffle is particularly focused on using it's fantasy concepts as metaphor for telling stories about mental health and terminal illnesses, while School Days takes a close look at the insidious friend groups and relationships that can form during a teenagers formative - well - school days (pardon the pun). If you liked one, you'll probably enjoy the other, thought be warned both include minor nudity and violence. read more 

Both shows follow similar formats with initially starting off as a light-hearted rom-com, however transitioning to a more drama based insane romance drama towards the end (much quicker pace in School Days due to less episodes)  

Almost the same kind of harem jealousy found in both. Male protagonist approach varieties of unique female characters and ultimately found his true love. 

Both are enjoyable harem shows with good emphasis on poignant and dramatic moments. Both also boast of good musical scores which enhance the feel of the series.  

They're similar in a way that they're both harem series. When I watched Shuffle! it gave me thoughts about DC. There's only a tiny difference between the two, the other one's somehow predictable unlike the other one... 

You can see many similarities in both series. Such as the character personalities and changes such as Sakura and Kaede(The "Psychos"), and Asa and Nemu (The "Victims"). 

both are typical harem series with loads of attractive and unique females all in love and fighting over the same not-so-attractive, not-so-unique guy

Both animes are adapted from very popular visual novels. Both contains Harem, School, Slice of life and Drama.

Both sit in the dramatic anime theme whilst still managing to be harem animes. Both also tie magic into the anime whilst not making it a huge theme. 

Both of them have a very similar plot. They both take themselves seriously enough when they need to. And over all a relaxing ride overall. 

same school life story, 3-4 girls fall in love with 1 guy, and he has to choose one,but the chosen one has a weak body, although Clannad covers more because of its sequal

Both start out as a slice of life harem comedy with magical undertone but as the series goes on it takes on dramatic elements. 

The way both anime start off driven mainly by humour and go onto become emotionally charged is very similar. Both main characters help the female cast grow and develop. Clannad is better and deeper, especially when you include the afterstory. So if you liked Shuffle, I reckon you'll love Clannad. If you found Clannad too emotional, and didn't like the family elements of the show, want something which focuses more on romance, and like cartoon boobs, then Shuffle's definitely for you. 

Both involve a male protagonist who is surrounded by a bunch of girls. The male characters also have similar personalities. And they also both have a similar humor. they are practically the same anime! 

Both are romantic comedies that turn into drama 

Clannad and Shuffle are both Romance/Harem anime where the mc actually chooses a girl. Both have their own small super natural twists, and if you've seen Clannad you'll notice some similarities between characters more towards the end & vise versa. 

Both shows focus on the MC dealing with problems related to a variety of girls, with romance developing as the story progresses. In both shows, there is also exploration into the 'futures' of the main couple after confessing  

Clannad and Shuffle! are laced with comedy and drama...the MC of each respected series finds himself surrounded with girls. haremed by girls who like him and he chooses the female best friend who gets sick alot. Nagisa ( is like both Asa and Kaede) she's like kaede because the MC eventually lives together with her even before he makes a romantic decision and also she's his home girl..like asa, nagisa has been the female best friend figure to him and ultimately became the one he chooses and also like asa she gets sick alot. and she has a sweet gentle mom who treats the mc well. the dad though is like sia's dad.. tomoyo and kyou are also like asa because well they are the tomboys...kotomi is like nerine because she is soft spoken...ryou is like sia because of having the same english dub voice actress...fuko is like mayumi because she's one of the few girls that hang around the mc who doesn't have a crush on him but rather provides the fans some comic relief....unlike shuffle!, Clannad is clean. it's like the non ecchi version of shuffle!..it's more wholesome than shuffle! read more 

They're both Supernatural, Harem, Romance with plenty of comedy and drama. Each revolves a around 5 girls with plenty of MOE appeal and male similar protagonist with the same voice actor. ^_^ 

Shuffle and Kanon 2006 are both harems with supernatural elements based off visual novels. Shuffle and Kanon 2006 both have five main girls.Many of the characters are similar in personality: Yuuichi-Rin Mai-Primula Makoto-Asa Ayu-Sia Shiori-Nerine Nayuki-Kaede (sort of)

There both herim anime with mess-up and confused girls who's attracted to a guy who they all met when there younger, but he cant remember meeting them. 

Both are mystery/romance shows about a high school guy in a town where half the women knew him ages ago, only he can't remember them, and he starts to get involved in everyone's lives, trying to help, etc. Kanon is a more serious show throughout, with funny/sweet moments throughout, while Shuffle spends the first half as a typical harem comedy, almost forcing out jokes sometimes, and one half as a drama. In my opinion, Kanon is a better show in the drama department, because Shuffle seems to pull things out of thin air to corce some drama, while in Kanon, even though they do that a few times, it's much smoother and better implemented. read more 

Both are solid harem/romance shows with similar protagonists. Supernatural themes exist in both, predominantly in Shuffle!  

Both anime deal with a main male lead who is loved by women that he has met in his childhood, but forgotten.  

Factual similarities: Both are harems based on visual novels. Both have conclusive endings. Both have supernatural elements. My opinion: Kanon is much better than Shuffle! though, much much better. I disliked Shuffle!; the characters have no variety and have extremely similar origin stories, the protagonist is awfully boring, a world that is not really explored at all. Kanon has most of the things Shuffle! lacks.

They are both Harems, they're similar in the sense that they both have supernatural girls in the harem.. But unlike most other Harems, shuffle is not as stereotypical because the main character actually ends up with somebody instead of just kind of leaving you hanging as to which girl he chooses.  

In both anime one main guy is surrounded by main girls and he has to choose between them that one girl that he wants to be with. And also both anime have some pervert scenes...

Both are supernatural and harem. Both have a guy who is forced to make a decision about who he loves. 

Rito from To Love Ru has to make a choice between two girls, Haruna, a normal human girl and an alien, Lala. There are other girls who love him who have yet to confess. On the other hand, Tsuchimi Rin from Shuffle faces a similar situation, he has two new girls introduced in to his life who are both non-human beings and wishes to marry him. He, in similar aspects to Rito, is a candidate to beautiful non-human being girls and is loved by several other girls in his school. Some of aspects that make these two different are: 1. [spoiler]To Love Ru was specifically aimed especially to merely entertain its viewers with perverted scenes. To Love Ru makes a very excellent comnedy. On the other hand, Shuffle develops its plot and the charcters by allowing the viewers to become sympathetic towards Nerine, Sia, Kaede, Primula, and Asa, by peering into their pasts, making Shuffle a dramatic anime.[/spoiler] 2. [spoiler]To Love Ru was set whereasin the charcters are intereacted human to aliens, but Shuffle was developed so that the demons, deities, and humans interact one another. Note: Some people will find it awkward that the female characters who are demons and gods alike look as attractive as humans do. Personally, I found it a bit difficult to accept the fact that Nerine, a HELL princess, was really beautiful because in many cultures, demons are ugly and detested. [/spoiler] read more 

These are two great harem anime I think, (i personally have played the hentai game of shuffle!). The animation is really great in To LOVE-ru. Also there is another version of To LOVE-ru that is apparently closer to the manga.  

Very similar charactors, typical harem/ecchi anime but with good stroy development similar to Shuffle in terms of story, alot of misunderstadning, great art work, great fight seens and alot of chactor development similar to shuffle. 

Both series are classified under the typical harem genre. As such, the main protagonist is surrounded by girls with conflicting personalities. Additionally, both series has the supernatural side...in this case, demons. Finally, both anime has a protagonist that isn't completely pathetic unlike some harem leads. 

Both series's belong to the themes of harem, and ecchi. They also have similarities in the themes of magic, demons, angels, love, and... girls. The biggest difference between the two is that Daimaou has more action, scenes that question morality, and the main male protagonist is the demon.

I won't spoil anything (I hope) but Asa/Misuzu have a lot in common, and the Ama/Asa and Haruko/Misuzu plot lines reminded me of each other. They are also voiced by the same person in the dub. There is a major difference in the resolution of the situations in both cases, however.  

Both talk about demons and are harem animes  

Is difficult to say wich is the better harem: Both has the best heroines and plot development in any harem so far. 

Harem anime that, unlike most harem shows, don't immediately make it obvious who the guy will end up with. Both have five girls and one guy (though not all of those girls have romantic feelings for the guy) and they each have bright, unique hair colors and archetypes. 

Both are school-age harem romantic comedies that are a bit less focused on slapstick comedy and the "accidental pervert" trope than most in the genre. Moreover, both anime reach a satisfying conclusion, in which the boy makes a choice about who to love--and in neither case, does he make the "obvious" choice. 

If you really liked Sora no Otoshimono then u will like Shuffle! Becouse there similiar - - Girls from another world. - Much girls surounding one boy like in Sora no Otoshimono. Don't know what to write more.Just watch and you will see yourself ;)

both are high school drama and love story. Both MC have multiple girls that like him, both have some comedy in them and a good plot twist near the end 

the clannad franchise is like a clean minded version of Shuffle! a romance comedy drama mix up.. a bunch of girls surround the MC and and he chooses the girl who's the best friend figure who is often prone to sickness...Nagisa is like a mixture of the gentle house wife part of Kaede Fuyou and the sickness proned best friend part of Asa Shigure. and her mom is just like ami shigure in how she carries herself ... also supernatural special effects with the capacity to restore loved ones. ...there's also a crazy dad. (nagisa's pops/sia's pops) the difference is clannad like i mentioned before is like a clean minded version of shuffle! (don't worry about ecchi because there is none! a good series doesn't need such trash to be enjoyable..let's get our minds off the gutter) ..Clannad as a whole is generously more wholesome than shuffle! a decent improvement in comparison read more 

Shuffle! and Ai Yori Aoshi are both in the Harem and Comedy genres. They also involve future plans for the male protagonist to marry one of the girls in the anime. But the most important similarity is just how heartwarming these two anime are. Most of the characters in the two anime are very kind and sweet to the main protagonist, and have very few annoying characteristics. Also, unlike some other Harem anime where the girls are fighting against each other over the main protagonist, the female characters in both anime seem to get along really well, and there's even a sense of camaraderie with them (with a couple of exceptions). There's another similarity between the two that I won't spoil, but you'll see it if you watch both anime to their ends. read more

Both series features strange stories with many female cast members that features ecchi, comedy, drama, and romance. There is a strange fixation in the series with a mysterious background as the episodes progresses.  

These are similar because they make you think, they provoke you and try to relate to you. It's very touching so I suggest them to you. 

same animators Asread and also shuffle! has a yandere girl who likes the main character kaede like yuno is jealous and has psychological sometimes violent issues as well as a dark past . yeah shes about as twisted as yuno the only difference is without the murders and gore..how do i say this? a milder version of yuno and with a different hair color. the theme is different theres nothing much similar aside from that one character comparison and the same studio. so I'm just putting this out there for anybody who likes female characters who are similar to Yuno Gasai read more 

First, both anime focus on a typical nice guy surrounded by beautiful women who (not all at first) have intense feelings of love for him. Just being around the guy seems to make other women fall for him in both animes. They both have a serious side and a wild, funny side. I got mostly the same emotions from both anime series. Shuffle! goes the step further than Love Hina and gives you some partially nude shots.  

The romance level and the character interaction are very similar.
