Exactly the same except the setting is more exciting with Uta no Prince Sama because of the idol settings.

Both series have somehow a strong zodiac-related theme in the story. Fruits Basket introduce characters as part of the Chinese Zodiac, while Starry Sky introduce characters representing each of the Zodiac Star Sign. Is quite interesting seeing once again an anime facing this special thing which is the zodiac. Still, both anime are shoujo genre and reverse harem: a main lead girl surrounded by handsome amazing boys. And both series share a very sweet atmosphere ♥ If you liked one of those, i highly advice to watch the other too ;3

The main heroine from both series meets 13 guys. They have fallen in love with her. Both series are reverse harem. One series is a full length series while the other is an ONA: the length of the series is 15 minutes episode

With otome adaptions one may always expect beautiful art wok, as that's one of the necessary draws for the genre - that, and the handsome male figures each with a different characterization. What sets each otome apart? In this particular case the otome in question have characters with there personalities based around specific themes, one being card suits and the other the zodiac.

If you liked the star gazing concept in Houkago no Pleiades, it is done much better in Starry Sky.

Reverse harem in small arcs. Miracle Train has a 1 guy for 1 girl that needs help. Starry Sky is 1 girl who helps out 13 guys in 3 episode arcs. Though most of the episode focuses on some past trouble of the male and then suddenly the girl helps them just a bit to alleviate some kind of burden.

Both are reversed harems and the main heroine get's to know the guys one at the time. The only difference is that Starry Sky is with humans and Kamigami with gods.

Similarities: Both are a reverse harem. Both female leads functions more like a 2nd lead or a support lead than a primary lead. Both animes are Bishonens fan service. Dissimilarity: One is a full length anime while the other is a short ONA. The female lead in YNSH really has romantic feelings for one of the male leads, while in SS, the female lead has romantic feelings for all the 12 male leads. In YNSH there were only 4 Bishonens , while in SS there were 12. And, in YNSH, the female lead is quiet a handful for the 4 Bishonens, while in SS the female lead is game for the 12  read more

Goodness knows I so far have been the only one making recomendations for "St. Luminous Mission High School". The best way to put the reason why I am recomending Starry☆Sky and vice versa is the fact that they have a simular feeling to them. They make you feel like you are thinking deeply.

Both about all boys schools wich have recently changed to co-ed and they are both also reverse harems.

Both have really pretty animation and GORGEOUS boys. The shows don't have very much story, and are more about the pretty characters and the [somewhat goofy] things they do and say to each other. Uraboku has some supernatural action, and is darker, while Starry is about school life. Overall, they feel very similar, so, like one, like the other.

both deal with the 12 zodiacs impersonated, even though in fairy tail they have a more minor role. its funny how the Leo in both series is voiced by the same person :D
