Asou Daisuke is a high school student and a gifted artist - but he is currently suffering from a block, which keeps him from painting. His childhood friend, Tachibana Amane, who loves him deeply, persuades him to do a portrait of Kimikage Yurina, a girl with a heart condition, before Yurina undergoes surgery. In the process of rediscovering his art, Daisuke also realises the love that he and Amane feel for each other.

Mixed Feelings
I suppose this anime was decent at best. I didn't really expect much out of 2 episodes, so I guess it did exceed my expectations. The story was rushed, but I guess that's to be expected. The art and animation were also very poor, but you can't really expect more from low-budget OVAs. The characters had a surprising amount of depth to them. story: pretty hard to understand, you will have to wait atleast 5 minutes to have the slightest clue what is going on exactly, even after then you still may not get it, but it apparently is about some kid named daisuke who has an interest in painting, while the other half is ...

And the story is naturally simple and can be summed up in one sentence: "Boy can't paint anymore, childhood friend is sad and tries to help him while she also sees other girls come close to him and gets jealous." But if you ...
