With so many beautifully animated shows out nowadays, It's nice to take a step back and look at where it all began. I have always appreciated old animated shorts like this. Ahiru no Otegara, in particular, is a fairly obscure anime, but I found it to be rather enjoyable for what it is. This short is about 1 minute and a half long, so it's story telling might not be the best, however it does manage to entertain during those few moments. Many things or some things, depending on view come without or little warning. Here is no different in regards to the anime. Yet, that should not be reason to skip out on the introduction. Make it comical, make it poetic, something. How it resides currently is almost sad. In other words far to rushed. Conclusion makes sense to the title name but at the same time is too predicable.

Black and white. The contrast is off so it comes to no surprise the images would be blurry.

It's a short movie about some wacky tornado that comes and tries to wipe everything out in the most 30s Disney way you could imagine.

The story is literally just a speedrun of some duckling trying to (then successfully) saving the animals on the farm. I feel like stories like these are the ones with a moral of the story behind them, but I am not sure if this had a message to it if it was based on "The Ugly Duckling" or based on "The Boy Who Cried Wolf".
