Fairy Tail

In the enchanted Kingdom of Fiore, the lively Lucy Heartfilia has one wish: to join the renowned Fairy Tail—one of the many magical wizard guilds scattered around the continent. Luckily, a chance encounter with Natsu Dragneel, the "Salamander" of Fairy Tail, whisks her into the legendary guild.

From Natsu's rivalrous antics with ice wizard Gray Fullbuster to the frightening presence of the unmatched combat goddess Erza Scarlet, Fairy Tail's powerful mages have a slight penchant for trouble. Through all the lucrative odd jobs and adventures to save the world from destruction lies an absolute and unyielding trust stronger than family that has formed between each guild member.

Teaming up with Natsu, Gray, and Erza, Lucy finds herself amidst the guild's most misfit wizards. But as they constantly stand in the eye of every danger, there is one name that never ceases to resurface: Zeref, the feared master of dark magic.

Fairy Tail is a series about a magical world where everyone has magic. It is the essence of all lives and is used for various things. It follows the main character's perspective, Lucy Heartfilia, and her friends from the guild, FairyTail. This story is a comedy shounen filled with heart-warming scenes that get you fired up with the characters. The reason why I only give it a 7 is because it still has the goofy moments during serious scenes and during the first season or two, shows the same "Power Ranger" scene for abilities. Mixed Feelings

Personally not the best for me. Has some decent fights and characters are unique enough. The animation is hit or miss, sometimes good other times not so great. Characters are a standard shonen. Wasn't too into the story and eventually just dropped the series. Some may like it so I don't want to dissuade others from giving it a watch. The openings were pretty good. I did find the characters and their goals not as developed so more work needs to be done on that. PROPER MINDSET
Ah, gotta love the masses and their love for mediocrity. Fairy Tail (FT) is from the pilot chapter/episode an average shonen series and yet it is loved by many for being just that. I guess rehashing notions from Naruto or One Piece can make a success out of anything. Because just like those shonens, FT has superpowers, adventure and a big cast of colourful and eccentric characters that occasionally get focused upon and fleshed out. Nothing we haven’t seen before but, hey, if it worked before why wouldn’t it work again?

Because it’s WORSE!
