Story
Friends are there for you to the end like family. Or at least your best friends are you hope. What if your best friend really knew you? What if they knew something that would make you truly happy but will come at a cost? Would that be worth while to you? Would it make a difference if it was their final gift to you? This anime considers all of these questions and basis a plot around it. While the intent was good was it all really worth it? Even if it lead to a happy ... ending?

While that is a lot to factor into the only problem i found with the story was the connection between the pink haired girl and his friend. While the connection was made know it was confusing. I may have made an oversight but the main character knew that information before anyone had a chance to tell him. A small plot oversight? Unless, the writer implied that the main character had some own personal rational thinking development.

Art
Nothing to complain about per-say. There was one moderate issue that could be good or bad depending on view. The idea of a text page for moments of silence. Sure, some would be more easier to express vocally but on the other hand it provides a creative expression. For it makes the viewer think if the words during those times are thoughts or spoken.

Personal remarks
The cover-art used might be in reference to a manga done about this show. However, is not properly documenting this anime. For not only does it improperly portrays to subs but certain physical features such as hair color is different.
