This donghua is one of the most enjoyable shows that I'm watching this season, and I 100% recommend it. I really wish that MAL would change the genre from action to comedy, but that's just my personal opinion.
Story: 7/10
The plot is pretty chill and gets the job done for a comedy donghua like this. It has incredibly fast pacing, which I really don't mind because it helps all the jokes land a lot better.
Characters: 8/10
They're all pretty stereotypical, but it plays into the comedy like how Saiki K does.
Animation: 6/10
It's so bad that it's good. Episode 1 started out with decent animation, but
...
the second episode felt like there was a dip in quality. Even though the animation isn't great, the cinematic direction makes up for it. I love the little details and they definitely make some cool choices for high-energy scenes.
Enjoyment: 10/10
Again, this show is really funny. I love comedies, and this one is one of my favorites. It isn't the greatest show ever, but it's fun in a way that a lot of other "comedy" shows aren't.
Ending song:
哦豁 (Ohuo) is AMAZING. I can't stop listening to it, it's an almost perfect song. When I first heard it at the end of episode one, my jaw DROPPED. I immediately listened to 大川Dietry's full discography and it's seriously top-tier stuff.
If you like comedies, especially more stereotypical, rushed ones, this is for you. You can watch the episodes for free on Bilibili's YouTube channel. They release every week I think, and normally they release to members of the channel first, but after 7 days they are released to non-members. Give this show a try, and I hope you like it as much as I do.
