Both are heavily focused on resolving personal problems through music and magic. Artiswitch might be a fair bit darker but I promise you it's worth your time!

Maebashi Witches and Ojamajo Doremi follow witch apprentices training to become full-fledged witches. Both series share a music theme and cover mature topics. The girls use their magic to help those in need while navigating their own challenges. Ojamajo Doremi is aimed at a younger audience compared to Maebashi Witches, but it can be enjoyed by teens and adults as well. Maebashi Witches is more music-centric with idol performances.

Both anime involve magical girls and music/performance. The key difference is that Kimi to Idol Precure is about Idols, and Mebashi Wiches just has the girls sing/perform without explicitly calling them idols. Also, Precure involves fighting monsters and Maebashi Wishes is focused in granting wishes and has some more serious topics and undertones. However, as i said, they both involve music and performances and share similar colorful characters and aesthetic.

Both series involve granting wishes/helping others through some form of magic. And in both cases, the main cast are cute girls with a complex backstory.

Both anime are about magical girls, have a complex backstory for the characters and slightly darker tones. Madoka Magica can be considered darker, while Maebashi Witches focuses on a wider variety of complex themes in the magical girls lives but retains some wholesomeness. Both feature the topic of memory loss and a weird looking animal that uses the girls wishes to run them into magical girl/witches.
