Party kara Tsuihou sareta Sono Chiyushi, Jitsu wa Saikyou ni Tsuki

Throughout his youth, unskilled healer Laust was taken advantage of by unscrupulous adventurers. Despite intensive efforts to improve himself, Laust is swindled by the members of Blades of Lightning—the first party that he joins after completing his training—and is eventually banished by its leader Margulus.

As the subject of public ridicule, Laust is not hopeful about his future prospects. However, novice adventurer Narsena unexpectedly offers to form a party with him, and he happily accepts. The duo quickly gain fame by conquering uncharted parts of the labyrinth. While there seems to be a reason behind Narsena's hasty proposal, Laust is oblivious to what it could be.

Meanwhile, Margulus fails for the second time to slay a poisonous hydra, even after enlisting the help of elite healer Lyra for the quest. Laust soon finds himself being asked to rejoin Blades of Lightning, but it is not as easy as he imagined to move on from his former comrades-in-arms despite his new path and current companion.

Mixed Feelings

This anime is another in a long line of "Strongest [Insert Category] Kicked out of Party" animes. Which is fine, I don't generally mind the incredible amounts of repetitiveness within today's RPG anime genre.

What I DO mind is how incredibly bad this anime's story and characters are. We start with the biggest flaw: despite the series title, the MC, Laust, is not the strongest. He is the weakest healer. He was kicked out of the party for being a bad healer when, in fact...he is a bad healer. He's a strong melee fighter, but he was fulfilling the role of ... a healer and doing a terrible job of it. As a result, the show fails right at the beginning to establish the baseline for this type of show: that the party is in the wrong and the MC is the innocent victim. Instead, the show TRIES to do that, but viewers who have played and understand group RPGs instead dislike the MC for applying for a group slot he isn't qualified for and failing his group.

Thus we get to failing two: since the show fails to establish the baseline "party bad/MC good" plot points, the show forces that viewpoint on the viewers by having the original party be ludicrously, cartoonishly evil and stupid, failing to understand the most basic elements of the RPG world they're supposed to have grown up in. To avoid spoilers I won't say how, but trust that you'll end up hating the storyline about as much as you hate the original party.

And finally (at least so far), there is the MC himself, who is a terrible combination of naive, bland, and irresponsible. The show has him continue the ludicrous farce that he's a healer despite it being constantly and obviously undercut by every element of the show. On top of that, no matter how badly he's mistreated, he forgives everyone, something the show treats as a good thing even when it leads to ludicrous injustice and bad outcomes for not just the MC but also everyone else. Again, won't spoil, but I feel confident that you'll know when you get to these moments, they're incredibly obvious and unambiguously bad decisions. Finally, he's just...bland. He barely talks, rarely shows emotion, barely even moves. He slowly walks around and attacks with a dagger, every once in a while saying not much of anything in short sentences. The supporting characters are far more interesting both in terms of the characters themselves as well as the action.

I'm forced to believe this is a group RPG anime written by a mangaka who has never actually played an RPG, which...is bad. At most, he's read about them in manga and is trying to bandwagon onto the genre's success.

I cannot recommend this anime on any level except as a time filler. It's the only reason I haven't dropped this yet.

This anime was so bad, I had to reset my password for MAL so I could login and leave a bad review. It is badly animated, poor written, and treats its audience like idiots. The story is so incredibly contrived, that not one, not two, not even 3 of the 4 party members have to be stupid for the party to have existed the way it does. All four of the party members including the main character are just so stupid and poorly written, it hurts my brain to watch it.

I think the only question is, if I hate it ... so much, why would I watch 4 episodes? I watch lots of bad isekai. It's great for putting me to sleep since I have insomnia, but this is just so incredibly stupid that it hurts my brain and keeps me awake thinking about how bad it is. I should have dropped it after episode one, but it was just bland enough to help me with my insomnia. Now I just want to warn people away from this blight on humanity.

Alright, so here's the rundown: the main character is a healer who gets booted out of his party because, well, he’s not a great healer—allegedly. After getting kicked out, he conveniently finds a new partner—who, shocker, is a girl he saved way back when. She’s totally into him and conveniently decides to join his new team.

But here’s the kicker: this “healer” isn’t just a healer. In fact, he’s ridiculously overpowered and can take down monsters with his bare hands and sword skills. At this point, calling him ... a healer feels like a bad joke. Why was he even seen as weak before? The guy can solo dungeons without breaking a sweat.

The story mainly follows him and his new partner as they go on adventures, delve into labyrinths, and recruit new members while inevitably facing off against some evil political schemes. It’s got your classic RPG vibes, but it also feels like it’s just hitting the same notes we’ve heard before—nothing new, nothing surprising.

Animation and Music:
The animation? Average. The music? Forgettable. It’s all serviceable but nothing that stands out or leaves an impression. If you’re looking for eye candy or a soundtrack you’ll hum later, you won’t find it here.

Character and Plot Depth:
Now, let’s talk characters. So far, they’re as one-dimensional as it gets. The MC is absurdly strong but insists on calling himself a healer, which, frankly, is just dumb. The motivations of the characters are about as basic as you can imagine, and the story so far leans heavily on the “OP protagonist” trope without giving much else in terms of depth or interesting developments.

Final Thoughts:
To be honest, this series is struggling to keep my attention. I’m giving it a few more episodes, but if things don’t pick up or at least offer a reason to care about these characters or their adventures, I might end up dropping it. Here’s hoping it can prove me wrong, but right now, it’s looking like one of the more forgettable fantasy shows of the season.
