Goddess Festival—A fruit festival that brings the labyrinth city of Orario to life. Goddesses symbolizing fertility are enshrined on the altar, and among them is the Goddess of Beauty. Danmachi keeps pulling forward as the train it is. I didn't enjoy the first half of the season as much, but the second half was very great and let me expand on this.

First part is obviously a build up, and I'm mostly neutral about it as I dislike the "a spell is used to trick everyone" storylines in general, even if it makes sense. But the second half of the season makes up for it completely as it explains the lore, the character motivations and goes into the culminating ending of the season.
Clearly it's a Freya season and I knew that Freya will be a ... complicated character, and she was. Everything about her story is awesome, I like it a lot and it's surprisingly well thought out.

Most characters in the season had things to do, most of them had growth and their own build up, which is always welcomed. As always things with Ryu are my favorite and her relationship with Bell is something i enjoy a lot even if it's unclear where it goes. I hope that after this season (where I already hoped we will get a closure for Ryu backstory) Ryu finally gets to "move on" and stays as part of main cast. It needs to happen, she is so good, both as a powerhouse and a character and it wouldn't make much sense to spend so much time building her up to keep her on the sidelines.

The main downside as is typically mentioned was the fact that there was no dungeon at all this season, but I think that some major plot lines were resolved, that had to be resolved and hopefully next season things will be wrapped up.

All in all, Danmachi doesn't fail to deliver and grow and I enjoy the fact that we actually have some shows that are capable of this.

Mixed Feelings

Gonna keep this short and sweet.

Bring back longer seasons for anime.

It fleshes out the characters, the story, and the circumstances the characters go through.

This season was fine, I gave a 7 cause it's my definition of "fine". I don't go by MAL's definition.
As I type this I'm starting to think maybe a 7 IS too generous of a score.
But no, I'll keep it a 7 for Freya and the GOAT GALE WIND ELF OF ALL TIME

It all started in Season 4.. when the MC was being too much of a goody two shoes and stopped the GOAT Gale Wind (THE ELF OF ALL TIME) ... from killing the guy, which resulted in her having to RELIVE her past trauma. All because of his stupidly elevated sense of "morality" and "goodness" and "being the hero". It's just not believable anymore. At least for me.
I basically compare him to the Spear Hero in Rising of the Shield Hero. Insufferable.

But my reasons. I like the premise of this whole thing. The gods and goddesses and the familias and the dungeon.
However I think I kinda hate the main character at this point.
He needs to get his head out of his a$$ if there's any goal at all of being relatable to the audience. Granted, I don't read the novel/manga so maybe it's too late for me to hope for that.

But like I said, I'll keep it a 7 for Freya and THE GOAT GALE WIND ELF OF ALL TIME
CAUSE THEY DESERVE BETTER THAN THIS MCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC

Trash can, Danmachi was a great anime the whole dungeon crawling, fighting for your life and leveling up made the anime great. the fight scenes the watching bell get stronger to find the push needed to win that fight was the great part, now in season V we have a lame love story no one asked for who cares about syr or freya, crappy animations, crappy plot like who tf asked for this season we want the fights. now this anime is just a crappy rom-com when the MC can't even look at a woman much less even know what a relationship is.
