The "Scotland Loves Anime" film festival takes place annually in Glasgow and Edinburgh. It was started in 2010 and includes the "Golden Partridge" jury award and audience-voted awards.

The past winners of the Golden Partridge Award are as follows.

2021: Gyokou no Nikuko-chan
2022: Goodbye, Don Glees!
2023: Hokkyoku Hyakkaten no Concierge-san.

This stack is intended for anime that are dedicated to people of various common (and not so) professions and areas of work. Of course, mostly realistic and everyday animes, with a few exceptions. I've made it my goal to choose shows that are pretty relatable and informative, so if said anime has fantastical or obviously unrealistic elements, I'll mention it in parentheses up front.

Also, given the huge number of shows about certain jobs (cook, teacher, idol), I tried to include only the most interesting shows, at least for me.

I got tired of sorting through the infinite tide of throwaway franchise movies and Detective Conans trying to find movies I missed.

Mostly Japanese movies only, though Korean and Chinese animation drawing heavily from anime genres might also be considered.

Movies not yet available in English at the time of this writing will be commented as such.

Length must be at least 60 minutes.
