Synopsis

These are a series of 13 omake episodes of Gun x Sword, tied in very loosely to the plot, with the characters as chibi puppets. The main characters are Wendy and her turtle, Kameo, who is the size of a human in this series and is able to talk. All the episodes seem to center around analyzing various events in Gun x Sword and mocking the themes displayed.

They are included on the DVDs.

These short episodes portray the cast of Gun Sword in a very wacky way. The characters appear as though they're in a cheap puppet show. So don't expect much in the way of art or storyline, but if all your looking for is a good laugh, then you could do far worse than watching Gun Sword-san. Oh, and Kameo the turtle talks.

The short special chibi episodes that follow the series. To me they were a mixed bag: On one hand they did offer some light humor and a different perspective on the characters but on the other hand they were rather silly and uninspiring.

The humor presented was often crude and graphic as well and while it did have its moments, it was by no means a riot. It was worth watching the whole thing just to hear the joke made on Tokyo’s governor though.

Basically it’s inconsequential to the story and just good crude fun at the expense of others, the characters and even the audience at read more
