It's set in an era when humans are colonizing space. One of the planets they colonized is this one. A planet that's occupied by vicious beasts and aliens who look and talk like humans but have cultivation superpowers. They are not friendly though and attack space humans because they can drain their souls to increase their cultivation level. The space human colony is one large futuristic city that's heavily fortified with sci-fi defenses. Along with that there is also an alien hunting bureau that defends the city and goes on expeditions into the wilderness to defeat the aliens. To do this the space humans use

futuristic weapons and a "holy" power that's basically a cultivation power as well. So there is pretty much no difference between the space humans and the alien humans.
The "story" follows the main character whose only backstory is that he is a slacker without talent for fighting and his sister was taken by the alien humans. He gains a cheat superpower that allows him to roll a dice to get a random overpowered ability. A lot of these are "silly" but the whole donghua is so terribly unfunny it's just sad. He uses the ability to defeat baddies, gain holy power and confidence and defeat more baddies. That's the whole plot. The characters are extremely one dimensional and mostly just serve to deliver a sentence each in succession whenever something happens that warrants a comment.
The fighting scenes are pretty bad. The animation is below average. The music is whatever. The voice acting is lifeless. The whole production is extremely low budget and it really shows.
It's not awful though. As it mostly beats staring at a blank wall.
