New Interest Stack
Interest Stacks![]() ![]() Anime with anthropomorphic animals whose furry character proportion is not enough to be tagged as "Anthropomorphic" ![]() ![]() This is a list of awesome anime for awesome people that understand how awesome anime is and want to get better at seeing what is actually good. Not everything in the list is a masterpiece (most are) but everything is essential to understanding anime as a medium for drama. ![]() ![]() What I look for the most in an anime above everything else is high-quality writing. That's not to say that manga, visual novel, and light novel adaptations are written poorly; in fact, there are some that have incredible, masterfully-crafted storylines. I have simply personally found that some of the most unforgettable series for me have been novel adaptations. ![]() ![]() Not really a dub watcher, just like making lists. ![]() ![]() There seem to be a lot of ways to watch anime but sometimes there are certain outliers that don't make their way to any legal streaming service OUTSIDE OF JAPAN (these criteria are mainly made using LiveChart.me as they list official streaming services to view anime and The Streamable), this stack aims to shine a light on these series, however, some rules are to be followed: ![]() ![]() Anime with OST's that will make you shout, sob or even make you doubt your existence... ![]() ![]() Worldbuilding - "the process of constructing a world, originally an imaginary one, sometimes associated with a fictional universe." These kinds of shows are usually set in a fantasy and/or sci-fi world, and excel at establishing & showcasing the rules/history/economy of their fictional universe. List was created through collective data from multiple websites of people's answers as to what shows are considered to have great world building. ![]() ![]() None of the titles in this stack take place in real locations, but they all have settings inspired by a specific Asian culture or mix of cultures. ![]() ![]() A list of anime that primarily feature badass women protagonists who learn, grow and hold their own. As fanservice free as possible, though mature themes are prevalent. ![]() ![]() The best anime I've seen, not all of them appeal to me or align with my preferences, but I can't deny their qualities. That being said, I still have a lot of anime to consume, so this list will likely change over time or not. ![]() ![]() Only 8+ scored TV anime. No sequels. ![]() ![]() This stack will be fullfilled with the best animes released recently since 2000 and has a collection of dense/provocative themes with inventive ideas that you don't see frequently and also has the power to provoke a sensation of joy or angst. ![]() ![]() This collection of series, movies and shorts represent a specific mood, expressed within the anime media. Their pace is most likely slow, and are usually focused at the complex emotional web that surrounds the worlds and characters that are within them. ![]() ![]() This is a list of anime that fall under the 'Cottagecore' aesthetic. The Cottagecore aesthetic romanticizes nature, the countryside and slow living. It consists of peaceful pastoral locations, homemade crafts, and traditional homesteading activities such as cooking, picnicking, gardening, forging, care-taking, etc. |
