Synopsis

Humanity was caught at a precipice a decade ago when the first gates—portals linked with other dimensions that harbor monsters immune to conventional weaponry—emerged around the world. Alongside the appearance of the gates, various humans were transformed into hunters and bestowed superhuman abilities. Responsible for entering the gates and clearing the dungeons within, many hunters chose to form guilds to secure their livelihoods.

Sung Jin-Woo is an E-rank hunter dubbed as the weakest hunter of all mankind. While exploring a supposedly safe dungeon, he and his party encounter an unusual tunnel leading to a deeper area. Enticed by the prospect of treasure, the group presses forward, only to be confronted with horrors beyond their imagination. Miraculously, Jin-Woo survives the incident and soon finds that he now has access to an interface visible only to him. This mysterious system promises him the power he has long dreamed of—but everything comes at a price.

The first 2 episode which i was one long ep instead of 2 episode, cause it felt quite Dragged out. Yet i do understand why they started the anime with it, cause u need that info for understand the story.

I highly recommand this anime, but only cause of the story but the drawing style i love it. It is so uniq. As well the music was already on my playlist before i began to watch the anime.

Ive watched some animes where the character goes from zero to hero, but seeing this from a gamer point of view makes it more fun.

Mixed Feelings
I can say "I really don't know why it is really popular" but thats a lie. This anime using a formula which is very effective and proven tens of times. That formula created of predecessor of SOLO Leveling, "SWORD ART ONLINE". Weak shy protogonist unfairly rising the ranks and every female around him dropping their panties left and right. But why I don't think this is a bad anime? Trash anime doesn't mean its bad, some of them like SAO is perfectly fun anime. They are like michael bay movies, fun but forgetable in five minutes. Though this one has a killer soundtrack. People like ...

Solo Leveling is proof that if you throw in enough overpowered characters, flashy fight scenes, and shallow revenge plots, fans will eat it up regardless of how abysmally written it is. Sitting at a baffling 8.2 rating, it’s clear that standards for storytelling in this medium have hit an all-time low.

The show is written like a middle schooler’s power fantasy gone wrong. Our protagonist, Jinwoo, starts as a laughably weak hunter who—surprise, surprise—gains overpowered abilities overnight. Character depth? Forget it. Jinwoo’s personality is as flat as the screen you're watching him on. His only defining trait is being ridiculously strong, but with no real ...
