Made in Abyss: Retsujitsu no Ougonkyou - Papa to Issho

This is so terribly sad, but only if you have seen Made in Abyss - Movie 3; Dawn of the Deep Soul (2020), otherwise it becomes just a silly little piece of childish enthusiasm.

This story highlights children's intrinsic innocence and their unconditional love of those who are close to them. Children cannot fathom evil, that is a learned experience, and believe all grown-ups to be as honest as themselves. Therefore they become utterly confused when they are faced with the practical results of evil.

There is a lesson here: Are not children, in their innocence, more human than "sophisticated", clever adults?

The art is somewhat sketchy, but ... that goes with the territory.
The intro is very similar to early 20th century shorts made in the U.S of A. A coincidence? I think not.

If MiA was animated by MGM and written by Disney. Amazing cute little short. Easily the most wholesome 6 minutes this franchise has to offer, and it was very much needed. The inverse of this joke is if Tom and Jerry visited the Abyss and that just amuses the hell out of me.
The animation is vastly different from the og series, but it didn't bother me at all. Lots of subtle background stuff im sure ppl will pour over. Even if every aspect of the show puts ppl off this 6 min short is perfectly fine to show anybody. Its a musical mostly so if ... those put u off then u probably wouldn't like it. Though, im sure every MiA fan would eat up any content.
