Kagami no Kojou

Both are underrated movies that stars a female high school student and is known to have magical vibes 

-Coming-of-age movie -Fantasy pocket dimension where timelines converge -Subtle metaphors on trauma and pain -The protagonists lose a family member at an early age; that person helps the protagonist move on from their trauma and stagnant life, into a new beginning.  

- Both are focused on putting a new spin on legends/fairytales. - Both see their main characters being forced to deal with their harsh realities with the help of new people they meet. - Both have rather large plot twists towards the end. - Both have a cast of school-aged characters (with Kagami’s being middle school and Furuba’s being high school). 

Both try to address similiar thing, i.e, issues faced by students which lead them to not attend schools. Both are about teleporting to another world to solve the said issues. Both have a diverse cast
