Synopsis

A mysterious string of disappearances on a certain train has caught the attention of the Demon Slayer Corps, and they have sent one of their best to exterminate what can only be a demon responsible. However, the plan to board the Mugen Train is delayed by a lesser demon who is terrorizing the mechanics and targeting a kind, elderly woman and her granddaughter. Kyoujurou Rengoku, the Flame Hashira, must eliminate the threat before boarding the train.

Sent to assist the Hashira, Tanjirou Kamado, Inosuke Hashira, and Zenitsu Agatsuma enter the train prepared to fight. But their monstrous target already has a devious plan in store for them and the two hundred passengers: by delving deep into their consciousness, the demon intends to obliterate everyone in a stunning display of the power held by the Twelve Kizuki.

I honestly didn’t expect to be this emotional again watching the Mugen Train arc in series format—but man, it hit just as hard, if not harder.

Even though I already saw the movie, revisiting those scenes with added moments and a slower pacing made everything feel richer. The extra scenes gave more space for the emotions to breathe, especially with Rengoku’s story. That alone made it worth watching all over again.

Let’s talk about the animation—still absolutely top-tier. Ufotable’s work continues to blow my mind. Every fight was fluid, crisp, and straight-up cinematic. There were times I forgot I was watching a TV series. It looked like ...

Mixed Feelings
Here the story starts to get a little more interesting, but the problem is that it's still the same anime, completely non-logical characters, there's no way to feel charisma for any of the characters, because they simply all have an extremely forced personality that seems to have been written for a child, the problem is not just the lack of depth of the characters, but the point is that the characters are so uninteresting that you don't want to know about them, it's like

1- Good character who will do everything to save his sister, has no chance of dying, and will always develop something at ...

I think the 3D animations were horribly out of place among otherwise peak of the artistic animation effects and one of the main characters was mostly one-dimensional, annoyingly larger than life without any backstory suitably explaining why, making me unable to empathize with them for the most of the story. Long shots, scenes and dialogues where nothing really happened.

The fights were, again mostly just plain boring and repetitive.

Story didn't seem very unique or interesting, little to no character development, same old over the top quirkiness that, for the most part, I've found just annoying.

I didn't watch the movie, but I wish I did instead, as ...
