Shiguang Dailiren II

The attempt to capture the mysterious perpetrator who possesses people ends tragically: Lu Guang is rushed to the hospital in a critical state, while Cheng Xiaoshi is arrested for the alleged crime. In light of recent events, the father of Liu Min unleashes his skilled, ruthless lawyer—Qian Jin—after Police Chief Li Xiao, who is spearheading the investigation related to the photo studio owned by Qiao Ling.

It appears that no one is safe from the unpredictable and fatal attacks of the adversary who painstakingly hides their identity. As he tries to learn from his past mistakes, Cheng Xiaoshi must act swiftly and decisively to put an end to this devastating trail of death.

1st another season with a" i don't know what will happen ending"...
2nd the consistency especially in end eps is just mind bogling .....
3rd again great songs .....
.
though in the middle parts in this when grandpa power rangers come it did become a bit slow for me and some parts where it feels like they are talking too much but but what surprises it held for the future is just greatttt..
.
i love when anime let you think and come to conclusion of what could happen it just invests you more in the plot but boy i can never with these they are random for ... there outcome and connect each eps with a constantly evolving plot.....which is just great though this season as a whole was not like s1 for me but in no shape or form this is a bad season please watch it if you're planning its as good as the last one.....and loved the cgi intro too fits right with its vibe though i hoped it would change...all n all this is great time travel anime with real life consequences to the characters just makes you feel a bit more about the characters

Mixed Feelings

This season is beautifully animated as before but I am a bit disappointed in the direction the series have taken. It is mainly a suspense and thriller now. But in season 1 it was primarily a drama. But I prefer it when it was less intense in season one, focusing on the Drama aspect. The kind of show it started out as, I believe, it never needed a villain with supernatural abilities who would become their nemesis. The show just didn't need a villain. Yet season 2 decided otherwise, or rather it started from end of season 1.

Season 2 has an excellent OP but I ... still prefer the simpler OP from season One, the one with the finger dance. I missed that in this season.

In summary its still a very good show, but I like season 1 much more.

The tone was really different than the first season.

After an insane clifhanger at the end of the 1st season, it seems that the goal of the writters shifted entirely.
Even the oppening of season 2 was an absolute banger
From a show that was heavily focused on the plot and the mystery, it turned into a more classic thriller. They added lots of fights (smooth ones btw), flashbacks from something we saw 10 min earlier... It's not bad in itself, just really different

Moreover, all the major decisions / ideas that the main characters have don't seem brilliant. They didn't left me speechless. When you ... use something as powerfull as time travel, it is possible to achieve greatness. They don't give to the watcher all the clues that the characters have. Hence their decisions didn't feel entirely natural or justified.

First season was a banger, surprising and new. Second season was classic. BUT if you like fist fights, a little bit of plot with grim undertones, you may like it quite a lot ! Reminded me more Fate Zero than Steins Gate

The show isn't bad at all. It was just disapointing because I had high expectations. I skipped a few minutes because I was bored but nothing terrible.
