Your Feelings Categories Dec 26, 2021
Tesla Note is a textbook example of so bad it's good content, and one of the most misunderstood series alongside Sonny Boy. It feels like I'm the only one in the world who thought it was amazing, but I wouldn't give it any less of a 10/10. It has permanently scarred me forever in how horrifying it is, but it was merciful. Nearly every episode I was crying from laughter. This is a series that is going to break you. It feels like they made the animation terrible on purpose to make it funnier. I could write a book about all the animation errors and

Jeez. I had to do a review here because this anime is getting so much hate and disrespect even If It is NOT THAT BAD.
Tesla Note is a interesting anime with a decent comedy and a cool, but not that brilliant, story. Basically, we have spys, action scenes that looks like hollywood movies, some nice adventures and tense moments, a bunch of different characters and, mainly, some letal ''crystals'', capable of ''destroying the world.'' Yeah, It's not a big deal but the general idea does work. The thing here is, the 3D animation makes the overall idea looks bad. Action scenes require a good and ... Oct 24, 2021
You'd think, with me giving this rating, that I would be blaming it on the CGI of all things. But no, for me, Tesla Note gets a bit of a meh rating for me, because of it's story, and here is why.
The main issue with Tesla Note, is that it tries to set a certain tone, but it fails to do such in so many margins. Not even in a 'it's so bad, that it's good' kind of vibe. It just falls flat for me. It's as if through this more serious, or seemingly geared to a more serious plotline, there is this element of ... Dec 26, 2021
I know what you're thinking: Is Tesla Note the second coming of the boldly acclaimed "SF show that declared war to end all SF shows"? The short answer...yes. The long answer...not quite so, so don't get your pitchforks and lay crucifixes on this show just yet.
Before I jump ahead to give you the full details, I'm pretty sure that 6,942.0 of you should at least know the brains behind Tesla Note: Masafumi Nishida and Tadayoshi Kubo. Not so much with the latter as this is his first time writing a manga, but the former has a track record to his name: the creator of the ... Dec 26, 2021
I feel somewhat bad for this show, because despite being unwatchable, it does have some good aspects about it. Not good enough to actually tell you to watch this, please avoid this like the plague (and other things…), but I do feel it may be worth mentioning, maybe to read source material or something.
- I personally liked the bantering between our two main characters. I genuinely found certain interactions to be quite funny, which was great amidst the rest of what I had to watch. - The story itself could be interesting as well, maybe with a change of pacing. Quite a few different groups striving ... Oct 25, 2021
Tesla Rolling in His Grave.
Tesla Note is the third in 2021's quad-force of CG disaster pieces along with Ex-arm, Cestvs: The Roman Figther and the currently airing Shikizakura (Quin-force if you want to count around a third of "So I'm a Spider, So What?" offerings). Tesla Note manages to land on the Ex-arm side of so bad it's hilarious so there is definitely value in watching it if you're into watching terrible anime with your friends whilst getting drunk/other, but not much else beyond that. Unlike Ex-arm however, characters are able to make facial expressions too express emotions other than default. Whether this is a ... Dec 28, 2021
Do I think people are absolutely overreacting about this anime? Absolutely. I don't really understand the hate for this anime besides the weird switch between 3D and 2D animation, with there being weird stills or shifts in animation and just the production of the show in general.
The story was solid. I didn't feel as though it was disjointed, made no sense, or had unrealistic expectations for plot progression. The way the anime went about discovering new shards, sure, could have been more optimized if we had more source material and/or a longer show adaptation, but neither of those was the case. Every organization's response to ... Jan 24, 2022
[Spoilers... obviously] [also just to add, I rewatched it like a year and a half after it came out and it’s rewatch value is actually pretty good]
I had more fun than I should have. This shows animation is horrible, but it wierdly enough made the show all the more better in this case. The show was almost always had bad 3D animation and sometimes a barely ok 3 second (at most) 2D animation. The story was ok until the last episode where it upgraded from ok to a slightly better version of ok. The characters are fine, but my personal favorite was the rip off ... Dec 19, 2021
I'm tired of seeing people hating this anime, for it's lack of animation, the switches between 2D and CGI.
Tesla Note doesn't deserve the hate, the animation studio might have been one of the newer japanese animation studios, who created most of the Isekai animes. Plus we never had a spy anime, ever being released. so I'd say Tesla Note is very unique and sure it's Art is "Mediocre or bad" it still doesn't deserve such hate. I give the japanese animation studio who made this props for actually attempting at doing an animation CGI anime. The story is extremely good, if you can look past the ... Dec 26, 2021
Ok, that wasn't good as in it was just too elaborate, to which IMAO, original creators like Nishida, Masafumi and Kubo, Tadayoshi, now generally speaking it was good, but all that secret agent stuff combine with Lara Croft, Ninja stuff, and some action thing were just a couple of things all forcefully combine in one. So:
Story-Pathetic 1: The plot taken from the "Tesla Files" combine with some James Bond/ Lara Croft / Ninja / comedy/ Scifi/ whatever was just too poorly combine into aa anime like this, where the heroine was a High School Girl, whom was well trained by her Grandfather was ... May 23, 2023
Tesla Note, the second coming of Ex-arm... Is it that bad? Kind of yes, but mostly for different reasons.
Don't get me wrong, this show is ugly. 3D is half-baked at best, constantly supplemented with bottom-tier 2D (outside of nice backgrounds), inconsistently animated (sometimes quite well, sometimes atrociously when the team rushed important scenes and patchworked stuff together in the most jarring ways). It's not as broken as Ex-arm and not as hideous as Gibiate, but that's basically the only positive thing you can say about Tesla Note's looks. At least the inappropriately-high-quality voice cast does their absolute best to bring the over-the-top characters and cringy ... Nov 15, 2021
To be honest, it's not a horrible anime, but it's just average (if you exclude the animation).
The premise was cool and I liked the overall idea initially, though I found myself losing interest quite a few times throughout the story. The CGI needed work. I know it's a new studio and they tried, but I don't think that's a valid excuse for producing subpar animations. It was really difficult to start watching because of this. The 3D animations felt out of place; they didn't look natural. There were weird switches between 3D and 2D. Sometimes there were 2D animations in the background with 3D ... Nov 3, 2021
3DCG is horrible even if better than EX-ARM. (EX-ARM is one of the worst Anime in the universe)
Art is one of biggest part of anime. So we can said this anime is simply bad. But, in the other part of this anime is not Bad. Tesla note has nice simple storyline with fun character and Action and humor. And Director of anime did good job, So presentation and composition are fairly good. It give you entertaiment more than other loose ISEKAI anime that has not bad Art. Art is not everything about Anime. Many people who don't saw this anime undervalued Tesla note. we should review this anime ... Oct 27, 2021
Try to think of an unholy child of Giabate and Ex-Arm. Take characters who are totally unlikable, team them with dumb as a post boss, mix well and serve a hot steaming mess.
The basic concept of "look for the things that might end the world" could work if someone tried to make an effort at character development and dialog... but that seems to be missed here. Main character is boring but could be better. Side character is just annoying. The fat guy boss serves as "Phil-up T Exposition" with no real reason to be on screen. Seems fitting the first episode showed a train wreck... ... Nov 2, 2021
Could this series be the next RWBY? Probably not, but it's certainly trying to be.
From the ombre bob cut to the sub-par CGI and questionable character designs, paired with surprisingly well choreographed action scenes, some nicely spicy dialog - mixed with utter cheesefest - and a good helping of a very original and genuinely fun universe. Unfortunately, unlike RWBY, there's too few moments of joy, and the series takes itself far too seriously conscidering how evidently tiny the budget was. The few attempts at comedy range from nose-snortingly okay to having bafflingly awful timing, not helped by the switch to 2d that's clearly an attempt to ... Dec 29, 2021
Tesla Note was a real piece of work, clearly evoking a similar feel to Ex-Arm from the previous winter. Which if you haven't seen, go grab your least serious friends and watch. But Tesla Note differs from Ex-Arm in the fact that honestly it isn't a horrible show. I do personally feel Ex-Arm could actually have been a really cool cyberpunk story with major revisions and changes, but Tesla Note has some enjoyment on its own, in addition to the really stupid stuff, which I think I'll cover first.
First of all, the visuals are absolutely horrendous. The models all look like they were made 10 ... Apr 27, 2022
I thought Ex-Arm was bad, boy oh boy...the animation is a step up from that terrible anime, but wow...I don't know how this was allowed to be created...the story was fine, but it just felt like the typical "monster of the day" anime where they fight a new character or face a new event every day. Honestly by the end it got boring...and the whole story about the main characters family member, etc was so badly played it just had me face palming...it did provide some moments of enjoyment..but that was mostly in the beginning..by the end it became a tired trope. It's bad, very
