There isn’t much to say. This anime is an adaptation from an Otome Game. We all knew that it wouldn’t be a masterpiece but it still exceeded my expectations. Everything was fine. Just average. It isn’t good but there’s also nothing wrong with it. It’s just cute boys doing cute things and I think that it was the right thing to do. There was no female protagonist with her harem which would have made it much worse. I don’t regret watching it but I wouldn’t watch it again. I wouldn’t really recommend it either but I wouldn't advise you not to watch this Anime either.

Preliminary (4/12 eps)

Usually when a game gets an anime it's not very good. But this is one of the rare ones that is. Instead of focusing on the main story of the game it focuses on the the brothers interactions. It's really funny and as usual the VA did a great job. I would recommend checking out the game before watching the anime. The jokes will make more sense. But if you are also curious about the game but you don't know if you want to play it this is also a pretty good introduction. I loved the original game and it is great the fans get ...

As someone who has played the game, I thoroughly enjoyed the anime adaptation of Obey Me! Although it would've been much better if they made the anime 20 mins long so that it would give time for the people who haven't played the game to fall inlove with the characters. (And also for Satan and Lucifer to get more screentime LMAO)

But, overall, I did enjoy the show and some episodes were actually in the actual story of the game so it was fun watching it get animated.

10/10 would recommend the game so that y'all could see more of our demon hotties ;) (and ...

Obey Me! is definitely a short anime series meant to be primarily enjoyed by those who are into the Obey Me! games already. It does a good job promoting the game too, however, for people who haven't played or heard of the game before. 6/10 overall, 7/10 for enjoyment :)

For context, Obey Me! is an otome game (dating sim for girls) where you more or less try to romance the seven different devil boys who are also the main characters of the anime. So it's pretty obvious as to why players would enjoy this anime since they can see a bit more into the lives ...

Preliminary (7/12 eps)
Obey me is a mobile otome game of "which will you pick" cool demon boy style.

I have never played that game but just five minutes of the show will tell you that. They know their target audience so it's not really a show so much as otome fan service.

Each episode starts out with a random sketch, the boys look super cute interacting with each other and putting on different outfits, the episode ends. That's really it, eye candy for the fans with a lot of inside jokes and references.

The art is what sells this one but it's pretty empty otherwise. There is no ...

I DON'T RECOMMEND WATCHING THIS IF U DON'T PLAY THE GAME / DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT! (i play the game and i very much love it so this might be biased)

When i heard the news about Obey Me getting an anime i was very excited, i watched it immediately and it did live up to my expectations. I loved it.

PROS:
Beautiful art-style, very colorful.
Voice acting is great.
Each character is unique and funny.
AN AMAZING ED SONG WHICH IS SANG BY THE CHARACTERS VA'S!!!

Originally watched this since I am a fan of the game. I don't really suggest/recommend this anime unless you played the game yourself. The art is good, however, I just feel awkward looking at some of the frames. Not much of a problem though.

The music is okay, but not to the point it's iconic. The characters are good, and it makes me want to go back into the game for them. Even though I rated this anime a 6/10, there are a few episodes that gave me several laughs.

I honestly wish the episodes were longer, but they did provide enough content within each episode despite ...

Preliminary (7/12 eps)
Hello, do you like demon boys being wholesome? Well that’s what this anime is. Pretty much it’s just the obey me brothers’ interactions from day to day. (This is my first time ever writing a review, so go easy on me please!)

Story: 5
There’s no story, just different scenarios happening each episode. I personally don’t like that style, but it was done okay here. Each episode was somewhat unique.

Art: 6
The animation is pretty smooth, it’s what you’d see in game for the cards. The art looks very soft and cloudy.I think the art looks alright.

Sound: 8
I never pay much attention to sound, but they did ...

I really like watching Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun, so when I saw Obey Me on part of the recommendation I decided to watch. It does have a similar vibe to it.

The genre of the show does of course have supernatural stuff with some comedy here and there.

The 7 demon brothers are all one-dimensional characters. They are the same at the end as they are at the beginning. So they’re pretty predictable. They are cute boys doing cute things. It does fit well with the tag. For you to understand what each brother represents you’re going to have to play the game.

There ...

I'd say this anime doesn't appeal to those who don't already know the Obey Me characters; sure, you can understand fine, but there's no attachments to be formed with such short episodes. It was fine as a sort of slice of life, but I don't know if it's worth watching unless you have a particular attachment to the game or want to get into the game. Personally, as I haven't played the game and haven't got an interest in otomes, I didn't care for the plots, but they were goofy enough that they didn't bore. As a time killer I might recommend, if nothing else.

I loved playing the mobile dating sim, and was really excited about the anime. But it's... really disappointing. The episodes are short, there's no real substance, the humor is bad, and they missed the nail on some of the original characters' personalities. I would probably rate it worse if I wasn't holding onto the nostalgia of my love for the game, and especially for the twins, Beelzebub and Belphegor. They did them a little justice in this show, at least. They made most of the characters really irritating and dislikable, and the story was boring. If you played the game prior to watching this show, ...

Ok, first of all, I'm gonna say, I have never experience or heard voice acting (or casting) as bad as this, I have heard amateur voice acting better than this in some indie games or whatever. But this... to be hearing this quality of voice acting in a supposedly professional made animation is just.... not entirely tolerable.

I love otome games, especially if they are a bit dark. I wanted to play Obey Me for a while but I didn't have a time to yet, so when I notice it has anime I just went and watch it just to see how is the vibe ...
