As peace returns to the demon realm, Anos Voldigoad wishes nothing more than to put his reputation as the Demon King of Tyranny to rest and go back to being a misfit at the prestigious Demon King Academy. I found the first season of this anime simply mediocre, but not enough to say that it wasn't entertaining to watch. Therefore, when I got to this second season, I was really expecting the same thing: a mediocre anime with a super powerful protagonist and little touches of comedy. However, in this case I was surprised. It went from being a simple generic anime with a very broken character to becoming an anime with a very interesting and deep lore story. Still, I don't feel like any big dangers really occur during the adventure, and the plot feels very linear. But at least it's ... no longer completely mediocre, mainly because it now feels like its world is a rich and vast place, with many stories to tell. Most of the characters still seem very flat to me, but there are small exceptions in which, although the personality and motivations are honestly mediocre, the way they unfold in the story is interesting. I recommend it because I really think that the author has created a very interesting fantasy world. Although he is not good at creating characters, it is clear that creating worlds is something he masters.

Recommend this anime, yes:
-You like convoluted and slightly confusing plots that can give script twists at the last moment.
-You like interesting worlds that break away from the average fantasy and isekai.
-It doesn't bother you to know that the protagonist can solve absolutely everything with a simple movement of his hand.

I don't recommend this anime, yes:
-You liked it too much in the first season. The first season focuses more on showing great power, to the point of making it comical and absurd. This season takes the story, the narrative, and the world a little more seriously.
-It bothers you to know that the protagonist is capable of solving all problems with a simple movement of his hand

La primera temporada de este anime me pareció sencillamente mediocre, pero no lo suficiente como para decir que no era entretenido verlo. Por lo tanto, cuando llegué a esta segunda temporada, realmente esperaba lo mismo: un anime mediocre con un protagonista súper poderoso y pequeños toques de comedia. Sin embargo, en este caso me sorprendió. Pasó de ser un simple anime genérico con un personaje muy roto a convertirse en un anime con una historia de lore muy interesante y profunda. Aún así, no siento que realmente ocurran grandes peligros durante la aventura, y la trama se siente muy lineal. Pero al menos ya no es completamente mediocre, principalmente porque ahora se siente que su mundo es un lugar rico y vasto, con muchas historias que contar. La mayoría de los personajes aún me parecen muy planos, pero existen pequeñas excepciones en las que, aunque la personalidad y las motivaciones son sinceramente mediocres, la forma en que se desenvuelven en la historia es interesante. Lo recomiendo porque realmente creo que el autor ha creado un mundo fantástico muy interesante. Aunque no se le da bien crear personajes, sí se nota que crear mundos es algo que domina.

Recomiendo este anime, sí:
-Te gustan las tramas enrevesadas y un poco confusas que pueden dar giros de guiones al último momento.
-Te gustan los mundos interesantes que se escapan del y isekai promedio de fantasía.
-No te molesta saber que el protagonista puede solucionar absolutamente todo con un simple movimiento de su mano.

No te recomiendo este anime, sí:
-Te gustó demasiado en la primera temporada. La primera temporada se enfoca más en mostrar un gran poder, hasta el punto de hacerlo cómico y absurdo. Esta temporada se toma un poco más en serio la historia, la narrativa y el mundo.
-Te molesta saber que el protagonista es capaz de solucionar todos los problemas con un simple movimiento de su mano

Mixed Feelings

From an overall standpoint compared to season 1 it's quite a nosedive, and even when looking at this season by its own two legs, it's clearly not that great of a show. Some of the animations for it can get choppy, especially during one of the "lesser important" fights where it is honestly pretty hard to even look at. Even then that said, I will say that the story being told and some of the more drama or emotional beats of this season do somewhat balance out the lackluster action and exciting moments that are heavily missed compared to season 1. But just because it ... balances it out doesn't mean it's still a "good" show, since even with the good and bad things together it is honestly just pretty "okay" and "fine" of a show. Now personally, I did enjoy the more built-up drama and emotional beats from this season but I know that just because I enjoyed it doesn't mean others will enjoy it as much as I did. Even I, someone who did enjoy this season overall, found it to be pretty tough to watch sometimes due to said lackluster-ness, especially when compared to the hype season 1 gave. So if you enjoyed season 1 a lot and genuinely like to watch this series for its characters then this season is worth watching, and if not, this series is fine to be dropped as you won't really be enjoying the show at all

The anime was good at first, but it took a turn for the worst in the second season. Expectations were betrayed, and it's filled with some random crap. It could have been better if the author maintained the flow of the first season. When the first episode came out, I was super hyped, but as I progressed, it became bad. The last four episodes were too cramped. The only good thing was the animation quality. The usage of power by Avos delhevia was very disappointing. Also hero canons actions were a disappointment as well. He was so good in the first season.If only it had ... maintained the vibe :'(
