Tenchi Souzou Design-bu: Idea 13

Well, since there isn't a review yet, might as well make a quick one.
This is just another episode, which is good stuff. More impossible tasks for our characters to try and figure out! But yeah I mean. If you watched the main series and enjoyed it, this is just an extra episode. There isn't much more to say really.
If you haven't watched the show yet, you could potentially watch this still and give it a chance. You may not know each characters quirks, but you could possibly figure a bit out about each character through this, and then decide if you want to watch the ... main series.
But yeah, that's about it really.

The first half of this special is kinda of meh compared to the best they've presented us in the show, but it was still funny. But the second half... it was simply the best riddle of the series, I was left completely dumbfounded at the end by the brilliance of it. It really should've been part of the season in my opinion.

So, if you've enjoyed this series, or really just enjoy riddles and/or science in general, this special is absolutely mandatory! A 9/10 for me.

I was happily surprised to see that this anime got a special episode, since the last episode seemed just a bit rushed at the end. And I also wasn't quite ready to say goodbye to it just yet. Unfortunately I doubt they'll be a season 2, so this is farewell to a very wholesome/sweet series.

The series runs around Heaven's crew who fulfill God's orders on diverse animals. Be it a bird that can't lay eggs or a creature that can walk on water. The problem is God never gives details and the crew is made to use their imagination (and some practice tests) in order ... to fulfill them.

Each angel has their own expertise in animals. Be it birds, snakes, the taste of any animal, poisonous animals, horses (unicorns?), etc etc. So each can carry their own very well and help each other as well.

I'm adament that this series is great for anyone at any age. Its cute, can teach anyone the ins and outs of animals, and the cast is very well balanced. They're all kinda weird, but in the best way. I love slice of life anime a lot and although I wouldn't say this is 100 percent the usual slice of life it has the charm of one. Definitely watch if your looking for something educational, slice of lifey, and cute af. <3

if you haven't watched the original series yet and isn't sure if you wanna watch it, i recommend watching this first to see if it suits your enjoyment. it basically captures what most episodes are like, the characters' personalities, the story, and how they present it.

if you Have watched the series then its honestly just like any other episode.
but since this is a Review i guess ill give my insights on what this special is like.
the story is fun and silly, with the characters who are very much loveable and entertaining working on animal designs. it gives you little informations on the ... animals that they're working on which turns out to be an actual animal that exist in real life so its a nice way to get little fun facts abt animals !
