Both very magical shows spectating girls on a journey accompanied by two male followers on a quest to defeat the evil lord and rescue their parents in a colourful fantasy. Accompanied from time to time are a cast of vivid characters that bring some personality to both shows. Possibly the main difference is that Crayon Oukoku has more serious notes in it, whether it's character chemistry or the underlying romance, compared to the whimsical and hyperactive Akazukin Chacha. Plus, Akazukin Chacha is longer than Crayon Oukoku and extends further in plot after the evil lord sequence. Regardless, both shows are fun to watch.

Cosmic Baton Girl Comet-san and The Crayon Kingdom of Dreams are two children's anime with a young magical girl represented by the color pink. The main character in both anime have to go on an adventure for the sake of their very bright and colorful kingdom, and has a companion (or two) to help them on their quest. If you are looking for some kid-friendly anime to watch with a younger girl in the family and don't mind looking for somewhat older entries, these anime are probably for you.
