What The Fuck?

Jashin-Chan Dropkick X, the third season, oh did I pray for your sublimity to correspond to a type of humor like Happy Tree Friends. Oh did I pray to you to give us moments as absurd as also pitiful with your angels and demons. Oh did I pray you to re-use the running gag that could still work after three seasons straight, namely Jashin-Chan’s Dropkick (Duh!). Oh did I pray to your humor more meta than ever.

Of course that I'm angry. Even extremely disappointed with the beauty it could give us. This season could not exist if our dear Japanese friends did not ...

"Okaimono! Okaimono!" "Na-Nani?" "Kyuujuu-en de katta negi dashi, ma ikka."
"Tsun tsun... Tsun tsun..."
"Negi negi no no no..." "Hm?" "...ojichan to obachan." "Hai!" "Gomen ne manager." "Bai bai."

But in all seriousness though, who else came here to watch the show for the memes and/or Hatsune Miku's cameo appearance? I, for one, started watching the series as a result of social media videos featuring Hatsune Miku, which I don't think is necessarily a bad thing, since any publicity or attention garnered is good publicity for the show and helps the studio in charge and other collaborators generate revenue. And the fact that the show was crowdfunded makes ...

Anime I never heard of getting a third season.
Me: (continues to sleep on it.)
Miku will also Collab in this season
Me: (Sparkling Gaze) Real Talk!

As you can tell literally started watching this series because of Miku lol. But while I am here because of her I'ma judge it like I judge any other anime.

Thoughts: I do like the show. Reminds me alot of Koboyashi's Dragon Maid or rather anime that plays out like skits out of daily lives. Though I'd have to say I wouldn't recommend benching through the entire series. The benching method made it get old sometimes. But then mid way through season 2 ...

The meme references are so good.
The comedy hits just right.
The 4th wall breaks are quite funny too.
The characters are cute and have their own unique personalities.
The story progression is sutle but its a cgdct show plus sort of slice of life so thats not its main aspect.
The animation is stunning and drawn frame by frame for a crowd-funded animation.
As for character, for example, Yurine is a very cute character while it contrasts her funny sadistic pleasures from torturing jashin-chan or jashin-chan's cute and charming nature contrasts her funny mischievous attitude puts a great laugh when in specific parts.
Some of the references require you to watch ...

–Spoiler Free Compact Review–

Jashin chan dropkick X is the sequel to the Jashin chan series. The show is overall very laid back and fun to watch; however, this doesn’t make it good. The show is painfully average. If you didn’t like the other seasons the show just isn’t for you. Even if you enjoyed the other seasons this might not be for you.

Overall:
There are a few hehe and haha’s but the gags are often mediocre and often fall flat.
The show seems artificial compared to the other seasons.
Many of the episodes seemed dragged out.
Feels like a massive marketing scheme to ...

It's Snek & pals season 3! Featuring Miku from the Hatsune Miku series and probably funded by Hokkaido's tourism bureau!

Well if you're already a fan of the raunchy, often violent humor of Jashin-chan, you're probably gonna watch this anyways, as it is more of what you'd come to expect. Jashin-chan is still goofy and selfish as ever in her antics to get one over Yurine, and her humorous interactions with characters old and new are still the crux of the series.

This season however, has some bizarre features such as several episodes back to back seemingly promoting tourism in different regions of Hokkaido, which brings to ...

If there was a show that I would proclaim having "a bloody good time" at, it would be Jashin-chan Dropkick, and 2 seasons later with a 2-year gap on each release, with Season 3, it's still the same show I remember with an insane record for being crowdfunded by the people, for the fans. Guess this goes to show that even anime can be made with the dedication of its people.

The Snake Girl and her "minions"...er I mean her dominator and friends are back with yet another passing realm of 2 years, and to make things better for Season 3, Hatsune Miku is here to ...

There's a decent chance that, like me, you're just here because you heard that Hatsune Miku is in this show. That's great! Like many others, I stumbled upon Jashin-chan through the numerous clips circulating the internet featuring Hatsune Miku in whimsical situations.

Why is Miku in a show about devils, gods, and necromancers? Well, the show is currently running into it's third season financed by a successful crowd funding campaign, and you can tell the producers are having a field day with the show at this point. Characters regularly break the 4th wall, reference the show within the show (how meta??), and, of course, have ...

The Devil is an Unemployed Bum.

If you’ve watched the past two seasons of “Jashin-chan Dropkick” and you’ve enjoyed them then you’ll be pleased to know that you’ll probably enjoy this new season too. It’s more of the same. “Jashin-chan Dropkick” has always been an absurdest comedy that relies on 4th wall breaks, references and unconventional humour so if you’re the kind of person who like that sort of thing then you’ll have a good time with this.

This season brings new characters to add to the already eccentric cast. My favourite of which being Lierre-sama, the head of angels who came to heaven to exact ...

When I originally started watching the first episode of the first season when it originally came out in 2018, I didn’t think much of it. I mainly wanted to watch it, because it sounded like it would be an ok anime to watch, if I don’t have anything else on my plate…now it’s 2022, season 3 ended and I already want a 4th one or at least a special. That should give a good idea, how I feel about this show…

As with the seasons before, this series continues being a bloody fun time, as we watch Jashin-chan, Yurine and all the other demons and angels ...

This is a review about the series as a whole from season 1. Surprisingly, this show has a chronological plot. Which is why I had to be detailed.

Whenever I think about what constitutes a good show, I’ve always been worried to express my opinion and put it objectively. It’s like I’m on quiz show. The host would ask every participant the same question: “What is the best anime?” and my neuron-activated monkey brain would just answer them with whatever comes at the top of my head: Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Fullmetal Alchemist, Soul Eater, Kekkai Sensei. But truly, even the audience can see all the ...

Jashin-chan's third season is as expected yet another wacky fun romp through Jimbocho starring everyone's favorite snake perpetually stuck in an abusive relationship. As with many other comedy shows that end up running for this many episodes, one would expect the series to start running out of ideas or to start over-relying on poor gimmicks that rarely stick, but Jashin-chan's third season still manages to pull in several laughs despite the occasional repetition and lacking the novelty that came with it when it first came out. The newly introduced characters are a bundle of fun, and I do like how Liere got more focus after ...

I had high hopes for X as someone who absolutely loved S1 and enjoyed Dash. But X just fell flat for me...

X is nearly devoid of any of the magic that made S1 and Dash so great. It did have a few moments of laugh out loud comedy and cuteness that I love about this anime but it has so much pointless BS mixed in with it aswell. The Miku cameo was interesting at first but got old extremely fast. The Jashin being in debt plot point was just frustrating to watch; when it came to a climax in EP9 it just made her ...
