Preliminary Spoiler

When I watch Baki, I get an instant pump.

When I see Yujiro, I am filled with determination.

Legends say roiders become natties after witnessing such a pure form of art.. or vice versa? I don't remember...

Anyway, words are not enough to describe it. TMS Entertainment did an outstanding job in adapting a manga that most humans would normally not be able to comprehend; they actually did it justice.

Itagaki-sensei is a real chad.

Well the Baki's sequel just came in and let me tell u people it s fuckin awesome , just great
Love the characters , love the plotline .
there aren't that many fights in this one and some characters weren't even shown in this sequel like the Chinese guy who stopped the bike with on hand and Baki's girlfriend.

Baki is all grown up now and is no longer an amateur.
He is so unexpected at times which is so cool.
The insect fight was little fucked up in my opinion but at the same time there's nothing too unreal in BAKI
he is more strong

I’ve been waiting for this ever since I heard about it and I can say that I was satisfied. It isn’t as fight heavy as the previous seasons but it does the job.

We had Olivia vs Baki, Oliva vs J G-something (I honestly can’t remember his last name),and Baki vs Mantis.

The animation was anything special but it wasn’t bad. It’s the standard Baki animation. It’s filled with more of the after picture movement thing. You know when they show you what happened what would happen if they actually animated the whole thing.

These twelve episodes were more character heavy with interesting witty dialogues. I ...

There are a few minor spoilers in this review

The series is a continuation of the previous series “BAKI”. It starts where Baki wilfully makes his way into a maximum-security prison called the “Black Pentagon” to fight Oliva as a stepping stone to defeating his father, Yujiro Hanma.

Story (8/10)
I find some complaints that there was no Baki vs Yujiro in this season. First, to answer this, Baki was never just about Baki. If the story was only focused on Baki vs Yujiro, it would soon be repetitive and tedious. Baki series is known to be exceptional at building tension between two fighters. The more important the ...

Welcome to the fifth season of this series, which is the most bizarre and unreal that I have seen about a fight between son and father, now without further ado let's begin the review:

--------------------------------------------------------------- May contain "slight" spoilers ---------------------------------------------------------------

STORY (more or less summarized):
The plot revolves around how Baki prepares again to face the Ogre, from unreal shadow-boxing with legendary boxers or a giant insect, to kidnapping a very "important" person in the US, to ask that he be sent where he is. the "second strongest man in the world" Unchained and thus defeat him.

ART (and animation):
Do you remember the CGI of PS1 from the 2018 ...

Hanma Baki: Son of Ogre is one of my favorite manga and this anime is the first part to the manga. This season of Baki was alright, less action than the other seasons and to be honest, not as good. This season is lackluster in fights and has a lot of iffy story writing. I do enjoy the overall arc and can see next season being way better. This season is just not that entertaining and has more "story" to it. Lets be honest, no one watches Baki for story. People watch Baki for the memes and the fights. This arc is really just an ...

I don't know what season number it is but hey. New season of baki, I was a little disappointed I thought there would be more fights from the protagonist. And I feel that they made me go back in the evolution that I had had, now he became more fearful, I don't know, I liked him more because he was arrogant and fought with everyone. I missed seeing more baki fights, I wanted to see him hitting everyone. It is still appreciated that it is animated in 2d and not in 3d like the previous seasons. That they gave you cancer to see them but ...

This is the best of the modern Baki stuff, but is brought down by the series worse flaws. Explanation after explanation drags the pacing, especially toward the end. However, we got ridiculous characters and interactions. Baki himself is at his best self in this arc. He is cocky with his rivals and kind to the little guy, which is especially refreshing after the last exchange with Mohammad Ali Jr.

Biscuit Oliva is back as the main villain. Baki and father are messing with President George Bush. One guys fighting style is just being 3 guys. It is a fun time.

Imagine if JoJo's had a cutscene/flashback everytime a character reveals a new ability/ uses a odd technique in battle - That's Baki.

My major critiques are precisely that. If you can endure the cringe techniques and needlessly long flashbacks then you'll enjoy this.
If not you'll hate it. Anyway, if you didn't skip any seasons until now you're already used to it.

The power scaling is also pretty irregular, the already weird realism keeps losing itself along the way. The "real life events" that happen in the anime are also pretty random.

But what is done right is done right, and the buildup along the season is as legendary ...

As a manga reader, I already knew what to expect. In fact, this "review" is for other fellow manga readers who want to know if the 3rd season was just as badly animated as the previous two.
Good news, the animation and art is great. It isn't top tier OVA stuff, but it's surprisingly better than most other new anime releases. So if you enjoyed reading the prison arc, absolutely give this season a watch, you won't be disappointed.

My only criticism is Oliva's voice acting. In the manga scenes where he shouts at the top of his lungs, you can feel his anger. In ...

Personally when I found of their was going to be a sequel of the Baki series, i was not to Happy in the sense, that I wanted them to continue with Baki series and just make another season.

However After watching the Anime, the first season of Hanma Baki: Song of Ogre, I can say I was happy. However my expectation for this show is very high, so I gave it and 8 out of 10 but was suspecting a 10 out of 10.

What I miss about the other Baki Show on Netflix, is it has a wide range of Characters and more fights, ...

"Sigh, unzips, pees on opponent" - Ikatagi's thought process, probably.

Baki, the series, has definitely known an exponential uprising in popularity in recent years, starting with the 2018 sequence, Netflix has definitely done a great deal to the overgrowth of this show far and wide, and for good reasons.

This sequel felt, ugh, different, Baki has never been so distant and "not himself", it was definitely something felt in the 2018 sequel, the Raitai tournament season hinted at things heading a different direction but this one scrubbed all of that and played us like Baki fodder.
It seems that the longer the series goes, the stronger Baki, gets, ...

This is a decent season of anime. At least it was only 12 episodes long, but it certainly had the weight of a long season of anime, and I don't necessarily mean that as a compliment. Baki Hanma (or Hanma Baki: Son of Ogre) is a silly and ridiculous anime, but it still hits in just the right way. The art style is nothing to write home about, but at least it's not trash. The story and the way it plays out are what can be considered funny, but if you're in a silly, goofy mood, Baki Hanma will resonate with you. It's mostly goofy, ...

I mean what can I say about this, its more Baki, if you're this far in you know what you're getting. While this one has a bit less focus on side characters as the first series and focuses more on Baki it still retains the same badass goofyness in its fights and buildups. While these types of anime aren't my go to its nice to watch and blow off some steam every now and then and get a good laugh. Some of the scenes were hilarious, but it also did have some side moments with his father which were mostly irrelevant and felt just like ...

BIG MEN DOING MAN SHIT is a mantra by which you should live and die. Baki is the pinnacle of that and I've loved every second of it's muscular macho bullshit thus far. However, this season is where business REALLY picks up!

Firstly, the animation quality has gone even higher than before and the CGI is nowhere to be seen. Nice! The music and voice acting hit as hard as the grapplers themselves, as usual, and the pacing is awesome. Despite being only 12 episodes, this felt a lot more full and eventful compared to even the first new Baki anime! This season has probably the ...

(This Review is created by somebody who watched this season out of order from the rest)

If you like hitting the gym or Boxing, this anime is for you.

This anime is about the son of an orge, Baki, who goes to the Arizona State Prison to have a 1v1 with America's strongest man in order to prove himself worthy of fighting and to get stronger.
The animation quality is good and the art is unique as it puts more emphasis on definition of the face and body on the characters
The story for this season is made quite well, and it combines humor and fighting together ...
