These two series may not be everyone's cup of tea, as the ideas behind them are definitely out there. The main characters are also not the nicest people, but one of the draws is that the main character is an anti-hero rather than an anti-hero. That, in turn, leaves the issue of the ideas being out there, but if one series out there concept appeals to a viewer, the others may not.

Isekai shows with similar jokes and character interactions. While Konosuba is more a DnD and isekai parody, Meikyuu Black Company is a black (surprise, yeah?) comedy about the Japanese economy mixed with some SRPG references. Kinji is basically a grown-up evil version of Kazuma. However, Black Company has less fanservice and isn't a harem.

Both of these Isekai rely on out there overall concepts that may not be every potential viewers cup of tea, yet for those looking for series that think outside of the box and have found this in one of the two may find what they're looking for in the other.

The main characters are both NEET, whose social skills are somewhat lacking. Despite their lack of social skills, they still manage to form bonds with those around them. They also both make a twist to the Isekai plot by doing it a different way.

On top of having out there concepts for the plots that may or may not be someone's cup of tea, they employ a similar visual style. The out-there plot concept is also not the kind of thing someone is likely to see repeated, not to mention they're also concepts that are difficult to pull off, and yet somehow the wackiness does work.

Similarities - Both MCs are isekai'd into a fantasy world - Both MCs use business tactics to dominate the new world's economy - Both MCs attract a friend group during their endeavors Differences - Meikyuu Black Company MC is male VS Kuma Bear MC is female - Meikyuu Black Company MC doesn't have overpowered abilities - Kuma Bear is more cutesie, foodie VS Meikyuu Black Company is more corporate, mining jewels

Quick recommendation for Tensai Ouji no Akaji Kokka Saisei Jutsu if you liked Meikyuu Black Company. Both, at core, have a remarkably similar premise. To avoid spoiling too much, I'll just say both MC's are "geniuses" (relatively speaking), motivated by some sort of laziness (i.e. get rich quick, live an easy life). In Black Company you have an MC who was living the good life, got thrown into a mess, and tries to get back to it. In the other anime you have an MC who just wants to sell his nation and get rich quick (as the title suggests).

Wan Jie MC treats others as equals - Meikyuu MC is a human VS. Wan Jie MC is a god - Wan Jie story is cultivation/xianxia vs. meikyuu story is fantasy/adventure - Wan Jie is a CGI Chinese donghua VS. Meikyuu is a 2D Japanese Anime

Similarities - Both series set are in the past/primitive era - Both series have traveller(s) reincarnate/isekai from the modern world - Both series use modern techniques (elevators, sky scrapers, businesses, stationary bike, bikes, traffic light, daily news, Sashimi etc.) Differences - You Yao is a mostly guy cast (suggestive BL) VS. Meikyuu is a mixed/straight male MC cast - You Yao is set in an Ancient Chinese dynasty VS. Meikyuu is set in a fantasy/primitive era - You Yao people are reincarnated into existing dynasty people VS. Meikyuu is just a single MC isekai - You Yao has more modern application even livestreaming with beauty filters VS. Meikyuu has mainly the corporate and  read more

-Both shows explore the dreaded "Black Company" - Japanese workplaces exemplified by excessive overtime and power harrassment. -Both shows use monsters and fantasy as metaphors for the current workplace culture in Japan. The main difference, other than aesthetics, is that the main character for "Cells at Work: Code Black" is largely seen as a sympathetic, naive victim throughout the story. He starts out a naive, optimistic worker who attempts to work hard to improve the workplace conditions, only to slowly get burnt out and depressed from overworking. The main character of "Dungeon Black Company" starts out as successful NEET, becomes a victim to workplace exploitation, and  read more

Chaotic, entertaining storyline with vibrant colours. Some ideas in idaten may turn you off if you're coming from meikyuu, and meikyuu doesn't have too much spice.

Both Maou-sama, Retry! and Dungeon of Black Company are tongue in cheek isekais which poke fun at concepts of fantasy worlds and video games. Both shows feature pragmatic MCs who would rather build power in their new world through wealth than battles. Both shows also feature a broad cast of eccentric characters who befriend the MCs and help them in their goal to build corporate empires.
