Both are anime based off of games. They are both similar in their polts, how the main chartares must battle an ultimate evil being ,along with dealing with their own pasts. Both have differnet character classes, and are in a fantasy world where monsters and spells are the norm.

Bote animes are based on online games and bote got mainchara's that follow jobs from the game, also in bote monsters pop up and need to be defeated. In other words they give the same feeling but still are different in allot ways, if you like Arad Senki you'll like Ragnarok, if you like Ragnarok you might like Arad Senki but that might depend because the story isn't progressed well. Anyways just try it.

Imagine a world where fiction and reality are one and the same from the air you breath to the battles you fought valiantly alongside your comrades. A perfect world like this is to die for if excluding the drawback of losing one's life. 'Sword Art Online' exceeds in character development and storyline where everyone is fighting for their lives in hope of even the slightest chance of returning to their own world. Most would find themselves drawn to several characters with the development they shown and the struggles they have to endure during their journey. The fantastic music tracks and lovely romance are just few  read more

Ragnarok is a lesser well known series to most people but is based off of a MMORPG game with a fantasy setting. As such, they contain elements similar to those of Log Horizon in terms of their themes, style, and settings. The main male protagonist from both series gets himself involved in this fantasy world where he is part of a group/guild. Together, they strive to survive. There is comedy, drama, and action present from both series. Additionally, they both contain MMORPG themes such as different classes that are based with different abilities.

Well, Grimgar is one of the few animes that has different guild for every job classes which Ragnarok the Animation has all of those Grimgar might be better but Ragnarok the Animation is the closest setting that you can find but although Ragnarok doesn't hold a candle to Grimgar it still has a charm of its own.

Well both of them are similar in the sense that they were both developed from videogames (One being an MMORPG). This one was quite enjoyable throughout its expansive storyline and detailed characters... (Plus they have dragons and shiz, how's that for a cool story?) :'3

Both series are adapted from games. Generally both tackle about a group of travelers, that started in a few numbers and later on joined by some valuable allies, as their travels encounter more adventures. Although, Granblue is lighter by nature and plot compared to Ragnarok which is darker and tragic at some points.

similar setup and both have same level of enjoyment. Mahou Senshi Louie is much more enjoyable with respect to each episode.

Very similar adventure theme

The two were adapted from the original game themselves, Both of these share the same adventure plot wherein they visit different towns and meet different people and foes.

Both anime based on games. They tell a story about a cute, innocent girl, a boy with the urge to be strong and protect her, a mysterious bishie, a journey and our average RPG action.

A "not a couple" couple travels around on a mission fighting, defending, and meeting many people on the way.

Similar characters with different abilities, they both have medieval-fantasy settings, wizards, spell with similar names. Also, in Eiyu Densetsu there are similarities with Ragnarok Online MMORPG (such as the flying ship or the guild)
