Yesterday wo Utatte: Haishin-ban Episode

So basically the love story in this anime is TOO GOOD the amount of unexpected events is just CRAZZY i love everything about this anime ESPECIALLY THE END JDNEJD but no for real like this is by far my favorite romance anime I can’t get over it I really recommend anyone who is looking for romance anime to watch this one it’s short but the story makes it feel Not short I feel like the amount of episodes is perfect nothing about this anime is bad THE CHARACTERS ARE TO GOOD and I really love this anime 100/10 like okay so the amount of love ... in this story IS SO GOOD AND THE ENDING IS PERFECT I CAMT SEE IT ENDING ANY BETTER IEJNDURUJE AND LIKE I CAMT GET OVER IT BY FARRRRRRRRR THE BEST ROMANCE ANIME IM SORRY TO GOOD THE COMPLICATED LOVE MAKES YOU WANNA JUST PUNCH A BABY J. ANT TOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOODDD

Everyone who has reached this page has already watched the main anime certainly. This extra part are short scenes shown after episodes 1-4,9 and 12. Everyone wished that the main anime was longer than just 12 episodes for sure. The short scenes here are only a small consolation but still enjoyable.

STORY:
After the relevant episode, we get a little deeper insight into certain situations afterwards. They are not story-relevant scenes, but we still get to see one or two more small details.

CHARACTER:
The characters act the same as in the main part. They behave in the same way here and act with each other. The most important ... point is, we learn a little more about them.

ART:
Here we get to see every small detail as well. Even those little things were presented precisely. You can feel the atmosphere of the treated episode well.

SOUND:
Although there is no music, the sound noises also fit here. You can hear small noises in the background, the conversations are presented well.

ENJOYMENT:
Learning one or the other new thing about the characters is certainly exciting. That is what makes these little scenes special. Even if it has no effect on the main part, you certainly want to see and experience as much as possible.

My recommendation is to watch the extra part immediately after the respective episode in order not to miss any detail. It would certainly be nicer if we had more full episodes instead of this, but we can see and enjoy that as a little bonus.

To answer the question for those interested, "Do I need to watch these to enjoy/get the full story of Yesterday wo Utatte?" I would say 100% YES.

In fact, even though I didn't enjoy the show that much, the scenes included in this ONA are in my opinion ESSENTIAL to understanding changes in the plot, certain character motivations, and even the ending of the show. Each episode of the ONA corresponds to an episode of the main show, I would recommend looking them up so you know when to watch them, because they're honestly scenes that should've been in the show but they probably ran out ... of episode air time so they animated them anyways and uploaded them online instead.

Never the less it leads to confusion in the long run if you don't watch them so do so, especially if you like the show but heck even if you don't. They include plot that is canonical and will get referenced later. I warn so there are fewer people in this world who waited to watch them until the show ended like me and because of such were really confused about some things. Honestly, my issue with the ONA is having essential content be outside of the show it's associated with is a bad meme that I hope doesn't stick around.
