Both are action and school anime where the MC isn't human. Additionally, they are the highest ranking people from their kind. Both MCs are forced to take a break that lasts hundreds of years, only to return and realize, that many things have changed. Adapting to the new era, they go to school, make friends and fight.
The main character from both of the show is similar in a lot of ways, such as:
-The highest ranking of his race/kind
-An incredibly powerful inhuman beings
Both show also features MC's journey to add up some members to their party/group, the denial of MC's power from the opposite side, and the school setting.
_Both MCs are OP, and the power of the Mc is another level than the other charakters.
_Both MCs have been awaken after long time.
_There is Nobility atmosphere.
Highly recommend to watch if you've liked the Maou Gakuin.
Both vampire anime with very similar looking main characters (Kaname & Rai). Rai is actually clearly influenced in his design by Kaname and it's even alluded to in the series. Both very handsome, extremely OP noblest of nobles (purebloods) in their own respective vampire societies.
Both have very similar appeal and are essential viewing for fans of Vampire anime.
Both being based around a vampire themed story, and both share a work into the inner lives of vampires and the groups that are within the vampire world as well too and also lots of really nice art to look at as well as character designs too.
These are both recent "crunchy roll original" projects adapting hugely popular webtoons. Both suffered a fairly critical reception but have their redeeming qualities. Both have similar OSTs and overall tones.
This might not even be too simular but i have a feeling that some of you people would enjoy both of these anime. Both have intrecate ideas on (how i would call it) a "different" or "Higher" Society that co-exists with regular humanity.
Both have interesting character design
Blockbuster webtoon household names finally break out with their own adaptations. Both kicked off to a relatively lukewarm response from their hardcore fanbases yet both likely at least performed well enough to be branded successes. Both also have a school setting and a positive/wholesome vibe to them.
Both recent "crunchy roll original" adapted massively popular webtoons. They share a lot of the same flaws, strengths and appeal.
Both have really lovable characters with great character designs and world building.
They are both set in high school while they have supernatural “powers” though they may not be the most similar it definitely deserves a watch and they both have the same vibe.
Both have prodigy main characters who are extremely formidable yet also lead double lives as your average Japanese high school student. Both contain super natural entities and abilities. Both have great clean character designs, amazing OSTs and similar art styles. Both try to make some of their characters heart throbs and appear as exceedingly attractive.
Both MCs lead double lives of sorts, living a regular high school life but also being a major player in more serious behind the scenes happenings. Both have vibrant and lovable characters with impeccable character designs.
Both have gorgeous art styles with great & unique OSTs.
Both anime with dark gothic themes yet also extremely lovable characters. Complimentary art styles with varied and cool character designs.
Both feature supernatural beings.
Both essential vampire anime viewing. Fans of the genre really need to check out both, whilst the tones of each are different; they both present their own depictions of similar subject matter.
Both essential Vampire anime. Appeal to the exact same type of fan and have countless similarities all the way down to their integral characters. If you enjoy vampire anime I'd highly recommend both these series.
Both shows have a nice boss-assistant relationship and a colorful group of characters gathering around them. There is a bit of action and comedy in both, but both are built on the interactions between the characters and the relationships they build. Both shows are rather slow and relaxed even though they become serious often.
Both school settings where the main character is secretly one of the strongest beings in existence. Both can have similar goofy/silly humour to go alongside this.
