Synopsis

The year is 1989. After the nation of Hinomoto was destabilized during the past World War, the rise of new technologies has enabled its revitalization. Modern engineering has given birth to aircraft, gasoline engines, and geomagnetic technology—revolutionizing transportation. Railroads have been rendered nearly obsolete and replaced by more efficient modes of transit.

However, a group of lively "Raillords" aims to renew the railroads' former glory. The Raillords, personified as energetic and spirited girls, act as humanoid control modules for their assigned railways. They meet in Ohitoyo City for the Raillord Summit, headed by Suzushiro, a Raillord from Manoka Railways. Together, the group capitalizes on its teamwork to get the railroads back on track, ushering in a "new railroad age."

Ohh Yes Japan At It again Making waifus Out of something That will Sound literally hilarious to, Guess what the culprit this time is No need to go far thinking its in the name of the anime itself they are trains. Do you like trains? Now, do you LIKE like trains? Then have I got the anime for you! Rail Romanesque was an odd experience, and while it meets most standards of production quality, it's just so specific. It serves as a testament to the sheer variety of anime out there, and proves that if there's a niche to be filled then there's going to be something to fill it! Rail Romanesque has very little positive to present, and that's it's biggest fault.

The story to Rail Romanesque follows several girls who've become conductors for their locality's trains. They meet to form a plan to revive the use of rail. The story is stupidly simple and presented over 12 - 5 minute episodes. Be expected to be shocked by what you get, as it's quite different from what you're thinking.
