Wan Guo Zhi

1663 Common Era, the youngest leader of the Ming dynasty's navy Lu Changfeng is to escort an official to capture criminals but was attacked by a ghost fleet and sea beasts, causing the entire envoy to be sunk. Lu Changfeng was saved by a mysterious girl from the ocean bottom and followed her to the international center of commerce of the Age of Sail: Luzon.

At the time, over 70% of the Ming dynasty's silver was obtained from Luzon, and this tiny island determined the fate of several nations. Spanish settlers cruelly ruled, and people of all walks of life, under the guidance of Song Yingxing, constructed the international finance center: the Kingdom of Wan. Despite disagreements with Song Yingxing, Lu Changfeng still chose to join Song's team: 天工, participating in the struggle against Spanish settlers with others. Both factions used bleeding-edge technological inventions in their battle. To resist the enemy genius Vesalius‘s weapon, Song Yingxing manipulates Lu Changfeng, bringing out his days fighting Vesalius in Korea, etc.

Good Anime, opening is very powerful, one must watch it for the change of pace from traditional shounen Anime. characters are well designed and story is portrayed in 3D. The Anime was suggested to me by one of my friend and I recommend others to give this one a try. I am surprised why this one has not updated in MAL portal, this is supposed to be a place to get the approprite synopsis of Anime and all relevant information like op, end or side story info. well I liked the action scenes and thrilllind adventures which come with so many surprises I am writing ... this review without much knowledge of how to write it in proper way because there is minimum limit of how many words should be there while writing a review guidelined my MAL

Mixed Feelings

I literally have no idea what I just completed. What was going on? What is happening? Who are they? What is that? It has really cool idea on the base where we get to see the world of inventors, philosophers, artists etc. Enjoyable conversations (when they are translated properly), exotic sceneries. But, really man, I have no idea what was the serie about overall.

If you are not a native Chinese speaker (since I am not) and if the brain of yours is one of a kind or super-high logical thinking ability and super-neurons doesn't exist in you as well, It's a high probability ... that this serie is a mess for you as well.

Give it a try for a few episodes if you were always interested in original characters and stories since you were a child; complete the serie if you are a native Chinese speaker or you got whats mentioned above.

Still, better both.
