Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max ni Nattemashita

In role-playing games, slimes are usually the easiest monster to kill, and because of that, they yield few experience points. But what would happen if you live long enough to keep defeating them for 300 years?

After many years of being a corporate slave, Azusa Aizawa abruptly passes away due to severe exhaustion. Seemingly headed for the afterlife, she meets a goddess who bestows her with immortality alongside a peaceful life in another world. There, Azusa enjoys her days tending to her farm, protecting the nearby village, and killing about 25 slimes per day—a routine that continues for at least three centuries.

However, this rather monotonous cycle begins to change when Azusa suddenly finds out that she has reached level 99—the maximum possible level—from slimes alone. Despite desperately trying to hide this fact in fear of ending her slow life, rumors of her strength spread nevertheless. Soon enough, various people throughout the continent, like the dragon Laika and the elf Halkara, start to appear at her doorstep—some seeking a battle, others asking for her assistance. Meeting friends and acquaintances who soon become family, Azusa finds she can live a life far better with others than when she was alone.

Slime 300 is a heartwarming anime. Ideal for those looking for a comforting story, full of light humor and friendship, without heavy drama. It's a charming reminder that happiness can be found in the little things.

One of the most relaxing and positive isekai in recent memory.

10/10 master piece, I liked the fun atmosphere and the characters, the story is simple but I liked it, a comedy anime with a light and happy atmosphere.

The story's focus isn't on power or destruction, but on enjoying the simple life, bonding, and building a makeshift family with lovable characters

Anyone who says, "I've been killing slimes for 300 ... years and I've reached my maximum level," shouldn't exist is demonstrating a closed mind and a lack of understanding of the value of diversity in anime. Not every story needs to be full of action, drama, or intense twists. Slime 300 was made for those who want something light, funny, and relaxing, a refuge from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Criticizing an anime like this just because it's "too calm" or "conflict-free" fails to realize that its purpose is precisely that: to show that a simple and peaceful life can also be beautiful and fun. The protagonist, Azusa, doesn't want to dominate the world; she just wants to live in peace, surrounded by friends and good laughs. And that's something many could learn to value.

Therefore, anyone who says this anime "shouldn't exist" is simply revealing that they can't appreciate stories that deviate from the norm. Slime 300 is a reminder that not everything needs to be intense to be good; sometimes, true power lies in living lightly and happily. 💚

Mixed Feelings

If you had dome the same thing over and over again, you would get pretty good at it, and it would be rather uneventful, and that's what this show is it's just uneventful.

It does what it says on the tin, our heroine has been killing slimes and thru that maxed her stats, but not perhaps her understanding and use of magic, but who cares when you can destroy a boss level monster with just a punch. As she lives her quiet life more and more people, hearing of her prowess show up and while they disrupt her cozy life, they also bring change and ... comfort she grows to love.

This show is just fine, it's not bad, it's not good, it's just fine, you get what you see and that's just fine, but due to that that "safety" as it were it just comes off as boring, even the emotional moments, which there are very few, don't even pull at the heartstrings.

Animation is average, music is generic, characters are tropes that go past skin deep, the story is cozy, and it doesn't do anything new with it's genre.

However, it must have done something right to warrant a second season, which at the time of this writing I have not seen, I may come back and change my score for better if this season has any sort of pay off in the next, but for now, unless you just want a cozy anime, like a low level slime, swipe and move on

Relaxing But Nothing Else

I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level Is an anime that asks a question, can you handle no meaningful conflicts and everything being chill. well I cannot.

From the first moments you know what the anime is about, chilling and not overworking yourself, and getting more family members, that is that the show. doesn't really have conflicts, there is stuff that happens, but there's no real tension to anything because the anime don't want that.

The family dynamic soon gets stale, because the character don't really change they just are what they are, maybe the main character and the ... red dragon do a bit.

Character design is not worth talking about, backgrounds are not worth talking about, animation is not worth talking about. the only thing that is worth mentioning is the amazing witch hat that changes size all the time. it is truly magic.

It is chill that I will give it, But I like my chill anime to feel like they have work on it, like Yuru Camp and Momo.

It's a cute distraction but nothing else.
