Eighteen-year-old Dale Reki is a skilled, kind, and respected traveler, acknowledged as one of the leading adventurers in the city of Kreuz. One day while on the hunt for magical beasts, he comes across a sweet devil girl named Latina. She is alone, dressed in rags, and bears the devils' symbol of a criminal: a broken horn. Concerned for her wellbeing, Dale decides to ensure Latina's safety by bringing her to his home, eventually leading to him adopting her.

Latina is sweet, innocent and compassionate, charming Dale beyond his expectations. He begins to enjoy the life of parenthood— experiencing the trials that come with raising a child and coping with the heartache he feels whenever his busy lifestyle as an adventurer parts him from her.

Although work and life as a new parent become reassuring constants for Dale, the mysteries surrounding the girl remain. Why was Latina alone in the forest, and why does she harbor the symbol of a criminal? At the same time, Latina also begins to learn about the world and herself as she adjusts to her new life with Dale.

Well, I don’t think it’s possible to analyze this anime in the usual way since it focuses so much on a single thing, so let’s start with the basics, and then I’ll explain why you should or shouldn’t watch it.

Animation: 5/10

Now let me explain why I liked this anime so much. I love love… simple as that. The father–daughter relationship between Dale and Latina is simply captivating, and that’s the biggest, if not the only, reason it’s worth watching. You’ll leave it feeling satisfied, happy, and at peace with life. Considering the oversaturated amount of anime in this genre, full of harems and fanservice revolving purely around bouncing boobs on screen… Uchi no Ko is a wonderfully refreshing breath of air.

It shows healthy relationships, with kind and likable side characters. If you’re expecting drama, battles, or evil villains, don’t watch this. Uchi no Ko is for those who want lightness and happiness. Latina is pure sweetness — she not only wins over every character in the story but will also win you over as a viewer. And if you don’t like her, the problem’s on you — you’re a bitter, sad person… do better.

That said, as you can see, if you’re looking for a light, happy anime that leaves you feeling good about life, you’ve found it.
If you’re after a wild shounen or an isekai full of busty women, look elsewhere. The animation is weak, the character designs are generic, but it’s impossible not to love each and every one of them.

Bom, não acho que seja possível analisar o anime de forma padrão pois ele se centra muito em uma única coisa então comecemos com o básico e depois irei dizer o porque você deveria ou não assisti-lo.

Bom vou explicar o porque gostei tanto desse anime, eu amo o amor... simples assim, a relação de pai e filha entre Dale e Latina é simplesmente cativante, e esse é o maior senão o único motivo de valer tão a pena assistir o anime. Você ira sair dele satisfeito, feliz e de bem com a vida, considerando a grande quantidade saturada de animes do gênero, repleto de harens e fan service que giram puramente em torno de peitos voando na tela.... Uchi no ko é um respiro de ar fresco muito agradável.

Temos relações saudáveis, personagens secundários amorosos e agradáveis... se você espera drama, lutas ou vilões malignos não assista, Uchi no ko é para quem quer leveza e felicidade. Latina é um amor, ela não so cativa todos os personagens da obra, como até o telespectador ira ama-la e se você não gostar dela, o problema esta em você sua pessoa amarga e triste... melhore.

Dito isto, como podem ver, se você busca um anime leve, feliz e que te deixe de bem com a vida você o achou.
Caso procure um shounen alucinante ou um isekai cheio de peitudas vá embora. A animação é ruim, os personagens tem aparecias genéricas, mas é impossível não amar cada um dos personagens.

Mixed Feelings

The first episode is the real banger here, if you're into the premise then I would say at least watch that. Its peak wish fulfilment for saving a little girl and taking care of her. Afterwards you can drop the show at your leisure or leave it on hold for as long as you want, because it doesn't move an inch for it's entirety.

Its not that it gets worse, because the cuteness of the heroine remains throughout, but the generic mediocrity of it all and the annoying screams of the MC lead to further and further diminishing returns as the show continues.
About 20-30% ... of the show is magical descriptions and setups for little things that I'll never know about cause I'm not reading the light novel (lol), but that stuff really only serves to distract you from the fact that the entire point of this show is that taking care of kids is awesome and heartwarming.

I didn't regret watching the show, it was very sweet, and it's nice for reminding yourself of the good that exists in the world, but I'd be lying if I said I finished it for any reason other than just to finish it.
I haven't seen Barakamon yet but it and other child focused shows probably do this type of thing a lot better.
So, mid. Like I said, definitely watch the first episode but don't feel bad if you skip the rest.

Watching this anime is eating a big bowl of pure sugar, full of teeth-rotting empty calories. You've got a cute little girl who is some writer's embodiment of wish fulfillment for a perfect daughter. She's smart, easy to care for, loves her daddy, and doesn't cause trouble. And the daddy MC never stops going on about how cute she is, that it gets annoying. The characters and situations just lack any sort of authenticity and don't resemble real people at all. If you don't mind that and just want some cheesy happy cute series with no drama, then maybe you'll enjoy it. But if you ... want something to ponder, then stay away.

The story mostly avoids difficulties in child rearing. Any other potential difficulties are resolved quickly without effort.

The animation is slightly below average, with generally acceptable quality but no moments which look great. The music is a bit on the annoying side.

The characters are all fairly one dimensional with no real trials which test their range of emotions, so there's not much to say about the acting.

It's like Spy x Family without interesting characters, without interesting premise, without an overarching plot, and with much worse production value.
