I went into the picture dramas honestly expecting nothing. And I came out once again craving for more Seishun Buta Yarou.

There's not much of a story; in fact, it feels like I'm listening to slices of Sakuta's life, with Mai, Koga, Futaba, Nodoka, and finally, Kaede (cuteness overload~). It almost feels like it's expanding on some of the previous scenes I saw in the anime, and in the case of Nodoka, some interesting character interactions that were not possibly fit into the original 13 episodes.

As usual, the voice acting was on point, and I am once again reminded of why every girl is best girl. read more

The picture drama is basically just a bunch of snippets of Sakuta interacting with the other girls in the anime. I didn't expect much, and the truth is that, most likely, only fans that really, really like Bunny Girl Senpai will listen to these without getting bored. There are fans there that lose interest quickly without animation (listening to just audio). Since I absolutely love the anime, I recommend listening to the audio yourself. It's a bit refreshing, because you usually see Sakuta in some kind of arc where a girl he knows has a problem with Puberty Syndrome. The picture drama offers a different read more

It's undeniable that Bunny Girl Senpai has stormed the fandom with no prior alert and managed to make out a loyal fanbase of its own after the serialization of a short 12/13 episodes season, and this Picture Drama only mirrors its popularity. I never understood the appeal behind Picture Dramas personally, maybe they are for the gags, or probably just an excuse to spin off some oneliners and inside jokes from the parent show, but I at least have seen a couple of decent Picture Dramas to this, but “Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai Picture Drama” was not one read more

A very good Special. It captures the magic of the chemistry between Sakuta and Mai. Even though it is just an audio, you can see the scene perfectly. I develops the characters a bit more and creates more hype for the upcoming movie.

The sound was very clear and the VA are excellent as always. I wish there had been an actual animation, but it was still very fun to listen to it.

It is a good special overall, but animation would have even made it better. For those of you who were sad because Season 1 ended, listen to this, it will calm you read more
